Pixy Stix
These were somethin’ else, I tell ya! Pixy Stix were little straws filled with powdered candy. They came around in 1952, and folks couldn’t get enough of that sugary powder. Now Dolly Mixtures, Pear Drops, Toffees, and those kinds—they were big back then too. These were the kinds of candies ya’d find in little shops, all packed in jars.
