Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “heavenly hash candy” recipes floating around, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I’m not the best baker, but I love trying new things, especially when they involve chocolate and marshmallows!
Getting Started
First, I gathered all my ingredients. I went with a pretty basic recipe I found: chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet), some chopped nuts (I like pecans), a bag of mini marshmallows, and some sweetened condensed milk. I also grabbed some butter ’cause, you know, butter makes everything better.

The Messy (But Fun) Part
I started by melting the chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler. Okay, confession: I don’t actually own a double boiler, so I just used a heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water. Worked like a charm! I stirred it all up until it was nice and smooth.
Then, I took the bowl off the heat and stirred in the condensed milk. This part was a little tricky because the mixture got thick really fast. I added the chopped pecans and mixed them until everythings is evenly coated.
Next up: the marshmallows! I gently folded those fluffy little guys into the chocolate mixture. I tried to be careful not to overmix, because I didn’t want them to totally disappear.
The Waiting Game
I lined a baking dish with some parchment paper (to make cleanup easier) and poured the whole chocolate-marshmallow-nutty goodness into it. I spread it out evenly, which was surprisingly satisfying.
Then came the hardest part: waiting! I popped the dish into the fridge for a couple of hours to let everything set. Honestly, I might have snuck a little taste (or two) before it was fully chilled. Don’t judge!
The Final Result
After what felt like forever, I took the heavenly hash out of the fridge. I cut it into squares, and…wow! It looked pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. And the taste? Seriously delicious. The combination of the creamy chocolate, crunchy nuts, and chewy marshmallows is just…heavenly! (See what I did there?)

This was a super easy recipe, and even though I’m not a pro baker, it turned out great. I’ll definitely be making this again. Maybe next time I’ll experiment with different nuts or even add some sprinkles. The possibilities are endless!
