Okay, so I saw this Dolly Parton banana cake mix thing trending and, like, I had to try it. I’m not the best baker, but I love banana bread and Dolly, so it seemed like a sign.
First, I went to the store to get the mix. I grabbed the Southern Style Banana Cake Mix.I also picked up some extra bananas because, you know, more banana flavor is always good, right? I also got eggs, oil, and some walnuts cause I love them in banana bread.

Getting Started
Back home, I preheated my oven to 350°* that was going on, I grabbed a big bowl and dumped in the cake mix.
Mixing it all up
- Then, I added 3 eggs.
- I poured in 1/3 cup of oil.
- I added 1 cup water.
- I mashed up two super ripe bananas and threw those in too.
I grabbed my electric mixer and mixed everything until it looked good and combined. I mixed it not too much though, cause I did’t want it going too tough. Then, I chopped up some walnuts and stirred those in by hand – gotta have that crunch!
Baking Time
I greased a loaf *, I poured the batter into the pan and popped it in the oven.I set the timer about 50 minutes.
The finished result.
When the timer went off, I stuck a toothpick in the center, and it came out clean, so I knew it was done! I took it out of the oven and let it cool. Then, I took a piece and it was so good. Moist, banana-y, and that little bit of walnut crunch… perfect!
Honestly, it was way easier than I thought, and it tasted amazing. Definitely a win in my book!
