21 Day Fix Desserts: Easy Recipes for Guilt-Free Treats

Alright, so I tried out some 21 Day Fix desserts. Figured I’d share how it went. Here’s the lowdown.

First, I went digging online. Found a bunch of recipes that claimed to be 21 Day Fix approved. I was skeptical, but hey, a girl’s gotta try, right?

21 Day Fix Desserts: Easy Recipes for Guilt-Free Treats

I started with the Chocolate Avocado Pudding. I know, sounds gross, but I was willing to give it a shot. I grabbed a ripe avocado, some cocoa powder, a little bit of sweetener (used honey), and almond milk. Blended that sucker up in my food processor. Honestly? Not bad! You can taste the avocado a little, but the chocolate covers it up pretty well. I portioned it out into my little blue container and stuck it in the fridge.

Next up, I tried these Peanut Butter Energy Balls. Super simple. Rolled oats, peanut butter (all-natural, of course), a scoop of protein powder, and a touch of honey. Mixed it all together, rolled them into little balls, and popped them in the freezer for a bit. These were actually pretty good! They curbed my sweet cravings and gave me a little energy boost.

Then I got a little ambitious and tried to make a healthier version of brownies. I used black beans (I know, right?), cocoa powder, oats, eggs, and some maple syrup. Blended everything together and baked it in the oven. These were…interesting. They weren’t bad, but they definitely didn’t taste like traditional brownies. They were more like a dense, chocolatey cake. I’d probably make them again, but with some tweaks.

Here’s what I learned: you can definitely satisfy your sweet tooth on the 21 Day Fix, but you have to get creative. Don’t expect these desserts to taste exactly like the real deal. They’re healthier alternatives, so adjust your expectations accordingly. And always, always measure your portions! It’s easy to overeat even healthy desserts.

Overall, I’d say it was a success! I managed to stick to my plan and still enjoy a little something sweet. Would definitely recommend experimenting with different recipes to find what works for you. Don’t be afraid to try something new…you might be surprised!
