So guys I finally tried that viral three-ingredient pancake recipe everyone’s been sharing – just bananas, eggs, and blueberries. Sounded too simple not to test it out myself.
Gathering My Stuff
First I dug around my kitchen: found one sad looking banana – gotta use it before it turns completely black right? Then grabbed two eggs from the fridge. Last thing was frozen blueberries because fresh ones cost a fortune right now.

The Messy Mixing Part
Peeled that banana and smooshed it hard with a fork in my mixing bowl. Left some chunks ’cause I’m lazy like that. Cracked those eggs straight into the banana mush and stirred like crazy. Looked like weird yellow goop but whatever. Tossed in a handful of frozen blueberries last.
Hot Pan Drama
Heated my non-stick pan way too hot at first – rookie mistake. Poured a test pancake and it browned in like 10 seconds. Totally scorched the first one. Ugh. Lowered the heat big time after that. Poured smaller amounts this time, waited until bubbles popped on top before flipping. Got like six decent mini-pancakes out of it after some practice.
How They Turned Out
- Looks rough – these ain’t Instagram pretty with blueberry juice bleeding everywhere
- Sticks like crazy if your pan isn’t properly greased
- Taste though? Honestly not bad! The banana makes it stupidly sweet without syrup
Real Talk After Eating
Let’s be real – these won’t replace my regular pancake mix. They’re eggy as heck and fall apart easy. But for throwing together when you got no time? Or when groceries are low? Zero effort breakfast that gets the job done. Messed up half of them but still crushed three in five minutes while standing at the stove. Coffee definitely required.
Moral of the story? Works in a pinch. Would I make them again? Maybe hungover on a Tuesday. Jury’s still out.
