Well now, let me tell ya somethin’ about keepin’ that kitchen of yours smellin’ nice and clean. Us folks, we like things simple, ya know? Don’t need none of that fancy stuff. But a clean kitchen? That’s important. Makes the whole house feel better.
First off, gotta get rid of them bad smells. You know, the kinda smells that stick around after you cook somethin’ strong, like fish or onions. Them smells, they ain’t gonna go away on their own, no sir. You need somethin’ to fight ‘em.
- I heard tell of this stuff called “PuroClenz Ultra.” They say it’s real strong, for big places and them real bad smells. Sounds like it might do the trick, but I ain’t never used it myself. They say one spray can cover a whole lot of space though, that’s somethin’.
- Then there’s these “Kitchen Refreshers.” They come in different smells, like lemon and that balsam fir, like the trees outside. Smells nice, I reckon. They say it cleans and gets rid of smells, all in one.
- And if your sink’s got that funky smell, you know the one, all backed up and nasty, there’s them fizzy things you can drop down there. “Plink Fizzy Sink Drain Cleaner” they call it. Lemon scent, too. That’s gotta be better than that old drain smell, that’s for sure.
Now, most of these kitchen refreshers, they come in a spray bottle. Easy enough to use, just spray it around the kitchen. They say it leaves a long lastin’ smell. That’s good, cause nobody wants to be sprayin’ stuff all day long.
I looked at the back of one of them bottles once, at the store. It had a whole bunch of words I didn’t understand. Sounded like a bunch of chemicals to me. But they all say it’s got water in it, so that’s somethin’. And some of ‘em have somethin’ called “essential oil.” I guess that’s what makes it smell good. One had “lemon basil” smell. Fancy! I just like things to smell clean, ya know?
Keepin’ the kitchen clean, it’s a never-endin’ job, ain’t it? You gotta wipe things down, sweep the floor, wash the dishes. But if you got somethin’ that smells good and cleans at the same time, well that makes it a little bit easier.
Some folks, they like to open up the windows to air things out. That works too, if the weather’s nice. But sometimes, you need a little extra help. Especially in the winter, when it’s too cold to open the windows. Or in the summer, when the flies want to come in and visit.
So, if your kitchen’s smellin’ a little…off… you might wanna try one of them kitchen refreshers. Find one with a smell you like and spray it around. It’ll make the whole place feel brighter, I reckon. And that’s a good thing. Makes cookin’ and eatin’ more enjoyable.
And remember, even if you ain’t got no fancy cleaners, just keepin’ things tidy and cleanin’ up after yourself goes a long way. A little bit of soap and water can do wonders, ya know? But a nice smellin’ kitchen, well, that’s just the icing on the cake. Makes you feel good, makes the whole house feel good. And that’s what matters.
