Well, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Manee Thai Cuisine & Bar. I ain’t no fancy food critic or nothin’, just an old woman who likes to eat good food, ya know? This place, it’s over there on 12005 Dallas Parkway, in Frisco, Texas. Suite 300, whatever that means. Fancy folks and their numbers!
They got all sorts of pictures on the internet, 320 of ’em, they say. I ain’t seen ’em all, mind you. Too busy livin’ life to be starin’ at pictures all day. But the food, that’s what I’m here to talk about. They say it’s Authentic Thai/Lao food. 🇱🇦🇹🇭 Don’t know much about them countries, but the food, it’s somethin’ else.
They open pretty much all day, from 11 in the mornin’ till 9 or 10 at night, dependin’ on the day. I went there on a Tuesday, I think. Or was it a Wednesday? Eh, who can remember these things? Point is, they were open, and that’s all that matters.
Now, they got this thing called Instagram, where folks put up pictures and talk about places. This Manee place, they got over 1,500 followers. That’s a lot of folks, I reckon. They post pictures of their food, makes your mouth water just lookin’ at it. Makes me hungry just talkin’ ’bout it!
- They got somethin’ called Pad See Ew. Noodles, I guess. Tasted good, though. A little sweet, a little salty, just the way I like it.
- And then there’s the Green Curry. Spicy! Whew, my mouth was on fire, but it was a good kind of fire. Made me sweat a little, but that’s alright. Good for the soul, they say.
- Oh, and don’t forget the Mango Sticky Rice. Sweet rice, mangoes…it’s like a little slice of heaven, I tell ya. Perfect for after you eat all that spicy stuff.
They got somethin’ called Seamless, too. You can order your food online, and they bring it right to your door. Ain’t that somethin’? Back in my day, you had to walk miles just to get a loaf of bread! But these young folks, they got it easy.
People say all sorts of things about this place. They say it’s got good food, good service, and the prices ain’t too bad. I agree with ’em. The folks there are friendly, always smilin’, even when it’s busy. And the food, well, it speaks for itself. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good, honest food. The kind that fills you up and makes you feel good inside.
They also got somethin’ called lunch specials. I ain’t tried ’em yet, but I heard they’re a good deal. So if you’re ever in Frisco, and you’re lookin’ for some good food, you should check out this Manee Thai Cuisine & Bar place. Tell ’em old Mary sent ya. They probably won’t know who I am, but that’s alright. Just go and enjoy the food. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it?
You can call ’em up, too, if you wanna book a table. Or just walk in, like I did. They got a menu you can look at, see what they got. And don’t be afraid to ask questions. The folks there are happy to help. They want you to have a good time, and they want you to enjoy their food. And that’s what makes a good restaurant, in my book.
So, there you have it. My two cents on Manee Thai Cuisine & Bar. It ain’t a fancy place, but it’s got good food, good people, and that’s all that matters to this old woman. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go find somethin’ to eat. All this talkin’ about food has made me hungry again!
