Alright, let’s talk about them tequila drinks, the kind you can whip up even if you ain’t got a fancy bar or nothin’. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout some easy ones, just three things you need, simple as that.

First off, we got that Tequila and Tonic thing. You know, like them fancy folks drink gin with tonic? Well, tequila works too! Just squeeze half a lime in a tall glass, yeah, the green ones. Then pour in two shots… or maybe three… of that tequila, the clear kind, they call it “blanco” I think. Stir it up good, then dump in a whole lotta ice, and fill the rest up with that fizzy tonic water. It’s real nice on a hot day, makes you feel all cool and refreshed, you know?
- Squeeze half a lime
- Add two shots of blanco tequila
- Fill with ice and tonic water
Then there’s that Tequila Sunrise. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t hard. You take two shots of tequila, any kind I guess, and then four… maybe six… pours of orange juice. You know, the kind you get at the store. Then, the secret is this red stuff, grenadine they call it. Just a little splash, and it sinks to the bottom and makes it look all pretty, like the sun comin’ up. Put a cherry on top if you’re feelin’ fancy.
Coconut Pineapple Tequila, that’s another good one. Makes you think you’re on a beach somewhere, even if you’re just sittin’ on your porch. You just mix tequila with coconut somethin’… maybe coconut milk, or coconut water… and pineapple juice. Easy peasy. I don’t rightly know how much of each, just pour it ’til it looks right. You want it sweet, add more pineapple, you want it strong, add more tequila. That’s how I do it.
And don’t forget the Limeade Margarita. This one’s a real shortcut. You get that limeade stuff from the store, the ready-made kind, and mix it with tequila. Some folks like to add a little bit of that orange liqueur, the stuff in the fancy bottle, makes it taste a bit sweeter. But if you ain’t got it, don’t worry none, it’s still good with just the limeade and tequila.
One time, my niece, she made somethin’ with tequila and coffee stuff. Said it was called… somethin’ fancy, I can’t remember. But it was just tequila, that coffee liqueur, and some cream I think. Tasted kinda weird, but it warmed you up on a cold night. So, you could try that too, if you’re feelin’ adventurous. Just mix those three things together, I don’t know how much of each, just eyeball it.

So there you have it, a bunch of tequila drinks you can make with just three things. Ain’t nothin’ to it. Just mix and match, taste as you go, and you’ll figure it out. And remember, drink responsibly, you don’t wanna end up makin’ a fool of yourself. I always say, one or two is fine, but more than that and you start talkin’ nonsense. And nobody wants that, right?
Now, I ain’t no bartender or nothin’, just an old woman who likes a good drink now and then. But these are easy enough for anyone to make. So go on, give ’em a try. And if you come up with somethin’ new, let me know. I’m always up for tryin’ somethin’ different.
