Alright, let’s talk about this Inaka place, yeah, the one in Brooklyn. Heard it’s got some of that Asian food, you know, the stuff with the rice and…other things. They say it’s on Vanderbilt Avenue, number 597. Sounds fancy, but I bet it ain’t too different from my cooking, just maybe a bit…prettier, ha!

So, what do they got? Well, they say they got dinner, and lunch too. Lunch specials, even! Like those city folks need a special price, always trying to save a penny, ain’t they? They also got this “healthy” food. Now, I don’t know what that means exactly. Back in my day, healthy meant you ate what you grew, and you grew what you could. These city folks, they got different ideas, I tell ya.

And sushi, they got sushi. Little rolls of rice and…fish, I think. Raw fish! Can you believe it? My old man woulda had a fit. But the youngsters, they seem to like it. Guess times change, eh? They also got vegetarian stuff. That’s food without meat, for those who don’t know. My neighbor’s girl, she’s one of them. Says it’s good for the animals and the planet. I say, eat what you want, just don’t go hungry.

Ordering Food at Inaka

You can order online, they say. Fancy that! No need to even talk to nobody. Just click, click, click, and food shows up at your door. Or you can go pick it up yourself, if you’re one of them active types. Me? I like to sit and have someone bring me my food. But these young folks, always in a hurry, gotta go, gotta do. They probably eat that sushi standing up!

They got a phone number too, if you’re old-fashioned like me. 718-398-8168. Easy to remember, right? You call ’em up, tell ’em what you want, and they’ll have it ready for ya. Or you can fax ‘em, if you still got one of them machines. Fax number is 718-398-8166. But who uses a fax anymore? Probably just them big businesses in the city.

What People Say About Inaka

Folks seem to like it, from what I hear. They got reviews and pictures online, all that modern stuff. People say the food is “authentic” and “delicious.” Well, I guess that’s good. “Authentic” just means it’s like what they make over in them Asian countries, I reckon. And “delicious” means it tastes good, which is what matters most, ain’t it?

  • They got good Japanese food.
  • You can order online for pickup or delivery.
  • They got pictures of the food so you know what you’re gettin’.

Finding Inaka in Brooklyn

It’s in Brooklyn, like I said. 597 Vanderbilt Avenue, zip code 11238. Easy to find, I bet. Just look for the building with all the hungry people outside. Or use that fancy GPS thing on your phone. Me? I’d just ask someone. Always the best way to find things, in my opinion.

More Than Just Sushi

They also got this “Sushi and Sashimi for 2” thing. Ten pieces of sushi, they say. Enough for two people, or one really hungry one, ha! I don’t know what sashimi is, but it probably tastes like fish. Everything seems to taste like fish at these places, don’t it? But hey, if people like it, who am I to judge? I’ve eaten weirder things in my life, let me tell you.

And they got Wi-Fi. That’s that internet thing, right? So you can eat your sushi and stare at your phone at the same time. These kids, I tell ya, they can’t go five minutes without that thing in their hands. Back in my day, we talked to each other while we ate. But times change, like I said. You can even make reservations, if you’re one of them planners. Me? I just show up and hope for the best.

So, there you have it. Inaka Asian Cuisine in Brooklyn. Sounds like a decent place to get a bite to eat. Maybe I’ll go check it out myself one of these days, if I can figure out how to use that subway thing. Or maybe I’ll just stick to my own cooking. At least I know what’s in it, ha!
