Well, let me tell ya about this place, Montri Thai somethin’ somethin’, in Warrenville, Illinois. I ain’t no fancy food critic or nothin’, but I know what tastes good, and this place, it’s got some good eats.

First off, findin’ the place ain’t too hard. It’s on Route 59, near Aurora. 2 s 535 Route 59 warrrenville il 60555, that’s what they say. Easy enough, even for an old gal like me. Plenty of parkin’, too, which is always a good thing.
Now, the food. They call it “authentic Thai,” whatever that means. All I know is, it’s tasty. They got all sorts of dishes, more than I can count on my fingers and toes. Let’s see, there’s this green curry stuff, Green Curry , they call it. It’s kinda spicy, but not too much, just enough to warm ya up inside. And then there’s this Rama Chicken. Don’t ask me what Rama is, but the chicken is good, real good. Tender and juicy, not all dried out like some places.
And the rice! Oh, honey, the rice is somethin’ else. They got this Thai Fried Rice, and it’s packed with all sorts of goodies. Veggies, and little bits of meat, and I don’t know what all else. But it’s flavorful, that’s for sure. They also got somethin’ called Pad See Eiw. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s noodles, big flat noodles, with this and that mixed in. I like it, it sticks to your ribs.
- Green Curry – Kinda spicy, warms ya up.
- Rama Chicken – Tender and juicy.
- Thai Fried Rice – Full of veggies and meat, real flavorful.
- Pad See Eiw – Big noodles, sticks to your ribs.
They also got duck, if you’re into that sort of thing. And seafood, too. Shrimp and such. I ain’t a big seafood person myself, but my grandson, he loves it. He says it’s the best seafood he’s ever had, and he’s tried seafood all over. So, it must be pretty good.
Now, I ain’t one for eatin’ in fancy restaurants. I like a place that’s comfortable, where you can just sit and enjoy your food without feelin’ all stiff and proper. And Montri Thai, it’s like that. It’s clean, and the folks are friendly. They smile at ya, and they bring your food quick. What more could ya want?

But if you don’t wanna eat there, you can take your food home. Yes siree, they do takeout. I’ve done that a few times when the grandkids come over. It’s just as good as eatin’ in, maybe even better, ’cause you can wear your comfy pants.
And the prices? Well, they ain’t cheap, but they ain’t outrageous either. You get what you pay for, I always say. And here, you get good food, so it’s worth it. My son-in-law, he’s always complainin’ about prices, but even he didn’t say nothin’ when he got the bill. I think he liked the food too much to complain!
I heard some folks sayin’ it’s the best Asian food, even the best Thai food, in Warrenville. I don’t know about all that, I ain’t tried every place in town. But I can tell ya, Montri Thai is good. Real good. So, if you’re ever in Warrenville, and you’re lookin’ for some tasty food, give it a try. You won’t be sorry.
One more thing, they take reservations, which is good if you’re plannin’ on goin’ on a weekend. It can get crowded. They also show up on that Tripadvisor thing, whatever that is. My granddaughter showed me. Lots of pictures of the food, too. Makes my mouth water just lookin’ at ’em. I guess that means it’s a good place, huh? All these fancy folks and their apps and whatnot, they seem to like it.
So, there ya have it. My take on Montri Thai Fine Cuisine in Warrenville, Illinois. It ain’t fancy talk, but it’s honest. Just a good place to get a good meal. Now go on and try it for yourself!
