Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Atlanta Beverage place, down there on Fulton Industrial. I ain’t never been one for fancy writin’, so I’ll just tell it like it is, ya know?
First off, they been around a good long while, since 1930 they say. That’s older than my grandpappy! They sell all sorts of drinks, like them energy drinks the young folks are always guzzlin’, and soda pop, and even that beer stuff. Sounds like they got somethin’ for everyone.
Now, they got this big place, a warehouse they call it, on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Heard tell it’s a whopper of a building, and they got more than just that one too. Seems like they got another one over in Marietta, and two more somewheres else. Guess they need all that space to keep all them drinks cold, specially in this Georgia heat.
- They got beer, you know, the kind your husband likes.
- And soda, for the young’uns.
- Oh, and them energy drinks, the ones that make you jittery like a squirrel.
They call themselves “Atlanta Beverage Company,” which makes sense, seein’ as they’re in Atlanta and sellin’ beverages. They ain’t one of them fancy-schmancy companies with all them letters after their name, like that BBB stuff. Don’t rightly know what that is anyways.
But folks seem to buy their drinks alright. Heard tell they make a whole lotta money, millions and millions of dollars! Land sakes, that’s more money than I ever seen in my life. Makes ya wonder where all that money goes, huh?
They’re a family company, too, or so they say. Been passed down from one generation to the next, kinda like my old farm. Cept they sellin’ drinks and I’m growin’ corn, heh. But family’s family, I guess, no matter what you’re sellin’ or growin’.
Now, I ain’t never been to their place on Fulton Industrial myself. Don’t rightly have no reason to go. But I see their trucks around town sometimes, big ol’ things loaded up with drinks. Guess they deliverin’ all them goodies to the stores and restaurants, keepin’ folks happy and quenched.
They got a website too, but I ain’t much for computers. My grandson tried to show me once, but it was all gibberish to me. Said somethin’ about “*.” Don’t know what that means, but maybe you young folks can figure it out.
You can call ’em too, if you need to. Got a number and all. (404) 699-6700 they say. But I ain’t got nothin’ to call ’em about. I got my well water, and that’s good enough for me.
So, that’s about all I know about this Atlanta Beverage Company on Fulton. They been around a long time, sell a bunch of drinks, got a big ol’ warehouse, and make a whole lotta money. Seem like a decent enough company, I reckon. Keeps folks from gettin’ thirsty, and that’s a good thing in my book.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens. Them hens get to squawkin’ if I don’t feed ’em on time. And that’s a whole lot louder than any delivery truck, let me tell ya!
