Alright, so you wanna know what’s in that there Audiologist’s Choice cleaner, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t rocket science. It’s just stuff to clean them hearin’ aids, ya know? Make ’em sparkle like new, or somethin’ like that.
Now, I ain’t no fancy doctor or nothin’, but I can tell ya what I heard. They say it’s got some kinda “quaternary ammonium” somethin’ or other. Sounds like big words to me, but it’s the stuff that kills the germs, ya see? Keeps them ear things from gettin’ all nasty.

Some of them cleaners, they got alcohol in ’em, but this Audiologist’s Choice, they say it ain’t got none of that. That’s good, I reckon. Alcohol can be rough on things, make ’em crack and break. This stuff is supposed to be gentle, won’t hurt them plastic ear molds or nothin’. They say it’s a “unique alcohol-free formula”, whatever that means.
I heard tell it can clean, disinfect, and even make them hearin’ aids smell better. They call it “deodorize”. Fancy, huh? But basically, it means it gets rid of the stink. You know, earwax and all that gunk, it can get pretty smelly.
- It cleans, gets the dirt off.
- It disinfects, kills the germs.
- It deodorizes, makes it smell nice.
They sell it in different sizes too. You can get a big bottle that makes a whole bunch of cleaner, real “economical” they say. Or you can get a little spray bottle, easy to carry around. I even seen them wipes, for a quick clean up.
Now, I ain’t sure about all the other stuff they make, but I heard they got more than just cleaner. Somethin’ for itchy ears, and stuff to keep the moisture out of them hearin’ aids. Lots of different things for takin’ care of your ears, I guess.
Some folks say you can use other things to clean your hearin’ aids, like hydrogen peroxide or even vinegar. But me, I’d stick with what the ear doctor recommends. They know what they’re talkin’ about, right? And you don’t wanna go messin’ up them expensive hearin’ aids.
So, there you have it. It ain’t got no big secrets, just stuff to keep them hearin’ aids clean and workin’ good. And that’s important, cause hearin’ is a blessin’, let me tell ya. You don’t wanna lose that.
Oh, and one more thing, this here cleaner is “EPA registered”. That means some big shots in the government say it’s safe and does what it’s supposed to do. So, that’s good to know, I reckon.

And remember, keep them hearin’ aids clean, ya hear? It’s important for hearin’ good and stayin’ connected to folks. Nothin’ worse than not bein’ able to hear what your grandkids are sayin’. So, take care of them ears, and them hearin’ aids too.
Anyways, that’s all I know about it. Hope it helps ya out.
