Alright, let’s talk about them beverages beginning with E. You know, drinks that start with that letter. There are a bunch, I tell ya!
E is for Energy
First off, you got your energy drinks. My grandson, he’s always guzzling those things. He says they help him stay awake when he’s playing his video games. Like that Emerge Stimulation Drink. Never tried it myself, sounds a bit too fancy for me. I stick to my tea, thank you very much. But if you need a little pick-me-up, I guess these are the way to go. They got lots of that caffeine stuff, I reckon.
Eggnog for the Holidays
Then there’s Eggnog. Now that’s a drink I know! We always have it around Christmas time. It’s thick and creamy, kinda like a melted ice cream. Some folks put a little somethin’ somethin’ in it, if you catch my drift. Makes it a bit more… festive. I like it plain, myself. It’s sweet enough as it is. Reminds me of when I was a little girl.

Espresso – That’s Strong Stuff!
Then you got your Espresso. That’s that strong coffee, ain’t it? Comes in those tiny little cups. One time, I tried a sip of my neighbor’s espresso. Whew! Nearly knocked my socks off! It’s bitter, but some folks, they love it. They say it wakes ’em right up in the morning. I’ll stick to my regular coffee, thanks. A little bit of milk and sugar will do the trick for me.
Fancy Drinks
Now, some of these other drinks, I ain’t never even heard of. Like that Espresso Martini. Sounds like somethin’ you’d drink at a fancy party. Martini is a strong drink if I know right. I guess they put espresso in it to keep you awake while you’re gettin’ tipsy. Not for me, but maybe you young folks like that sort of thing.
And what about this El Diablo? Sounds kinda dangerous, don’t it? Like somethin’ the devil himself would drink! I bet it’s got a kick to it. I imagine it is hot and red like fire. It’s probably one of those drinks that burn your throat when you are drinking it. Not my cup of tea, but hey, to each their own, I always say.
East India, Eclipse, El Presidente… These sound like names of places or maybe even those fancy racehorses. But they’re drinks! Who knew? The world is full of surprises, ain’t it? I can’t imagine what they taste like. Probably somethin’ exotic and expensive. East India is a cocktail. I don’t know what’s inside. I bet there are some weird-tasted things.
Electric Lemonade and Easy Breeze
Then there’s Electric Lemonade. Sounds like they put a battery in your lemonade! Probably gives you a good shock! I reckon it is sour and sweet. And I don’t know why it is called electric. Maybe the color? I will never know, I guess. I like regular lemonade, made with real lemons and sugar, just like my momma used to make.
Easy Breeze, huh? That sounds refreshing, at least. Like a gentle wind on a hot summer day. Probably something fruity and light. Maybe something you’d sip on while sitting on the porch, watching the world go by. It sounds very relaxing. I’d like to try it. I bet it is a sweet drink with a little bit of alcohol.
Elderflower Drinks
I have heard of elderflower drinks before. Elderflower is those little white flowers that grow on bushes, right? My neighbor used to make elderflower tea from her garden. It was pretty good, a little bit flowery tasting, but nice. I bet they put that in some of these fancy drinks too. Some people say it is good for your health. Don’t know if it’s true.
Emerald Isle
Emerald Isle is another one I don’t know. Maybe it is a green drink. It reminds me of Ireland, a country far away. Maybe people there like this drink. And they drink it a lot. I don’t know what’s inside. Maybe some grass from Ireland?
So Many Drinks, So Little Time
Well, there you have it. A whole bunch of beverages beginning with E. Some I know, some I don’t. But it just goes to show you, there’s a whole world of drinks out there, just waitin’ to be tasted. But me, I’m a simple woman. I like my tea, my coffee, and my eggnog around the holidays. That’s all I need to be happy. But if you’re feelin’ adventurous, go ahead and try some of these “E” drinks. Just be careful with that El Diablo, now. You don’t want to get burned!
So many drinks in the world. So many choices. I bet there are even more drinks that start with E. It will take forever to try them all. But I think I will skip those with alcohol in them. I don’t want to get drunk. That’s no good for an old lady like me.
These drinks sure are interesting. People are so creative. They put all kinds of things together. I can’t even imagine. I am too old for these fancy drinks. I am happy with my water. But you should try these drinks if you like. I hope you will find the one you like. Maybe a sweet one. Or a strong one. Who knows!
