Hey everyone, I wanna share some fun stuff I did for my little cousin’s graduation party. She just finished high school, and we threw her a big bash. Of course, no party is complete without desserts, right? So, I went on a mission to find some cool and yummy graduation dessert ideas. Here’s what I did.
First, I thought, what’s easy and everyone loves? Oreo Mousse Cake! It’s a total crowd-pleaser and super simple to put together. I just followed a basic recipe, layering crushed Oreos with a creamy mousse. I made a big batch, enough for about 16 people, and it was a hit! They all loved it.

Cupcakes Time
Then, I wanted something a bit more personalized. I made Graduation Cupcakes. The fun part was making them in her school colors. It was a bit of work, making 24 of them, but so worth it. I used a simple vanilla cupcake recipe and then went crazy with the frosting. I found some edible graduation cap decorations online, which I put on top. They looked so cute and festive!
Experimenting with Instant Pot
I’ve been getting into using my Instant Pot lately, so I thought, why not try a dessert? I found this recipe for Instant Pot Chocolate Chip Cheesecake. I was a bit nervous, but it turned out amazing! I mean, who knew you could make cheesecake in an Instant Pot? The texture was so creamy and dreamy. I might never bake a cheesecake in the oven again!
Keeping it Simple
- I also whipped up some No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars. These were a lifesaver because, you know, no baking required! Just mix, press, and chill. They were a big hit with the peanut butter lovers.
- For something that really screamed “graduation,” I made these Chocolate Graduation Caps. I melted some chocolate, shaped them into little caps, and stuck them on top of some brownies. Super easy and they looked awesome.
The party was a blast, and the desserts were a big part of it. Whether you’re having a small get-together or a big party, these desserts are sure to make the grads feel special. I had so much fun making them, and seeing everyone enjoy them was the best part. Graduation is a big deal, so why not celebrate with some awesome treats? Try them out, and let me know how it goes!
