Okay, so today I tried making pork loin and rice, and it turned out pretty good! I wanted to share the whole experience with you guys, from start to finish. I mean, who doesn’t love a good pork and rice dish, right?
First off, I gathered all my ingredients. I grabbed a nice piece of pork loin from the fridge – I made sure to pick a good one. I already had some rice, onions, garlic, and some spices at home.

Then, I started by seasoning the pork loin. I just sprinkled some salt, pepper, and whatever else I found in my spice rack. Nothing fancy, just wanted to give it some basic flavor.
After that, I heated up some oil in a pan and seared the pork loin on all sides. I cooked the pork loin until it looked nice and brown. I took it out of the pan.
Next, I chopped up the onions and garlic and threw them into the same pan. I stirred them around until they were soft and smelled amazing.
Then, I added the rice to the pan and toasted it a bit. I poured in some water, then put the pork loin back into the pan, covered it, and let it simmer. I kept an eye on it and added some water if it looks dry.
While that was cooking, I thought about what else I could add. I remembered I had some veggies in the fridge, so I chopped those up too and tossed them in during the last few minutes.
Finally, after some time, everything was cooked through. I turned off the heat and let it rest for a bit.
I served it up, and it smelled heavenly! The pork was tender, and the rice had soaked up all the flavors. I sprinkled some chopped cilantro over my plates.

Honestly, it was a pretty simple meal to make, and it was a good choice for dinner. If you are looking for quick meals to prepare after a tiring day, maybe you can try this, too.
