Okay, so today I went to this place called Certified Burgers and Beverage. I heard a lot about them, so I was pretty pumped to try it out. I walked in around lunchtime, it was bustling but not crazy packed, which was nice.
First off, I noticed they’re all about fresh ingredients. They’re making their burger patties from scratch using 100% USDA ground chuck. No fillers, no preservatives, nothing like that. That’s a huge plus for me, ’cause who wants to eat some mystery meat, right?

Making My Burger
I ordered their classic burger. When it comes to the meat, the waiter told me that they get it from their own facilities in places like Baldwin Park and Lathrop, California, and also Dallas. Sounds like they’ve got this whole patty-making thing down to a science!
They let you customize your burger, which is awesome. I went with cheddar cheese, some lettuce, tomato, and their special sauce. I also added some crispy bacon, ’cause why not? Bacon makes everything better.
Grabbing a Drink
Now, onto the drinks. They’ve got a pretty solid selection. I saw some folks enjoying coffee, but I was in the mood for something colder. They had beers, and the menu said they use the finest barley malt and select grains, so you know it’s going to be good.

I ended up choosing the chocolate drinks for myself. It was the perfect match for my burger.
Checking Out
After finishing my meal, I went to pay. They’re open every day from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, which is super convenient. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, you can get your burger fix. The place is on St. Simons Island, at 44 Midway Square. Easy to find, and plenty of parking around. And They have some options for people who are gluten-free. I noticed that they offer chickpea fritters, which is pretty cool. So, if you’re celiac or just avoiding gluten, you’ve got choices here.
All in all, it was a solid experience. I enjoyed the burger, the beer was good, and the service was on point. It’s a comfortable spot to grab a bite, and I’ll probably be back to try some of their other stuff, like their sandwiches. Plus, knowing they’re all about fresh ingredients makes me feel good about eating there.
