Okay, here’s my sharing about making desserts with walnuts and cream cheese:
Yesterday, I was thinking about making some desserts, and I just happened to have some cream cheese and walnuts at home. So I thought, why not put them together? I did a quick search online and found a few interesting ideas. It seemed like a good combination, so I decided to give it a try.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed the cream cheese from the fridge. It was a bit hard, so I let it sit out on the counter for a while to soften up. While that was happening, I started working on the walnuts.
I saw a suggestion online to make candied walnuts. Sounded fancy, but it was actually super easy. I just tossed the walnuts in a pan with some sugar and a little water. I cooked them over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar melted and coated the walnuts. It only took about 5 minutes! Then I spread them out on a baking sheet to cool and harden. They smelled amazing!
Mixing Things Up
Once the cream cheese was soft enough, I put it in a bowl and beat it with an electric mixer until it was smooth. Then, I thought, what else can I add to make this even better? I remembered a recipe I saw for blondies with white chocolate chips and brown sugar, so I decided to add those in, too. I mixed in some brown sugar, a bit of vanilla extract, and a handful of white chocolate chips. I also chopped up some of the candied walnuts and added those to the mix.
I have to say, the batter tasted pretty darn good on its own! But I resisted the urge to eat it all and poured it into a greased baking pan. I sprinkled some more chopped candied walnuts on top for good measure.
Baking and Cooling
I baked the whole thing in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes. The edges turned golden brown, and the center was just set. I took it out of the oven and let it cool completely before cutting it into squares.
The Final Result
The end result was a rich, delicious dessert that was both creamy and crunchy. The tanginess of the cream cheese balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the brown sugar and white chocolate. And the candied walnuts added a wonderful texture and flavor.
- Taste: Seriously, these were so good. The combination of flavors was spot on.
- Texture: The creamy cheesecake filling with the crunchy candied walnuts was a match made in heaven.
- Appearance: They looked pretty good too, with the golden-brown edges and the glistening walnuts on top.
I shared some with my family, and they all loved it. I’ll definitely be making this again sometime. Maybe next time I’ll try adding some different ingredients or spices to change things up. If you’re looking for a simple yet impressive dessert to make, I highly recommend giving this a shot. It’s surprisingly easy, and the results are amazing. Trust me, you won’t regret it! That’s all from me for now, folks, catch you later!
