Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out this Indian place, Taj Palace, for a while now. Heard good things, you know? Finally got around to it last weekend, and let me tell you, it was an experience. First off, I grabbed their menu online beforehand. It’s huge! Like, seriously, pages and pages of dishes I’ve never even heard of. I spent a good hour just browsing through it, making a mental list of everything that sounded good.
When we got there, the place was buzzing. They seated us pretty quickly, though. I already had a few dishes in mind, but I took another look at the menu anyway. It was tough to narrow it down, but we finally decided on a few things to share.

- Started with some kind of tandoori chicken. This stuff was amazing. It came out on this sizzling platter, all red and juicy. I dipped it in this creamy, minty sauce they had on the table.
- Then we got some lamb dish. Now, I’m not usually a huge lamb fan, but this was different. It was ground lamb, cooked with all these spices and herbs. Super flavorful, and not gamey at all.
- And ordered a boneless tandoori chicken. Marinated in herbs and spices, this one was creamy, like butter chicken.
- We also tried some of their Indian beer, which was pretty good.
By the end of the meal, we were stuffed. Seriously, we could barely move. I packed up the leftovers, though, because there was no way I was leaving that deliciousness behind. They have a variety of Indian meals and preparations. It is among the tastiest meals, you will be blown away. Oh, and they have some gluten-free options that are great.
All in all, I’d say Taj Palace lived up to the hype. The food was incredible, the service was solid, and the whole experience was just great. If you’re into Indian food, or even if you’re just looking to try something new, I definitely recommend checking this place out. Just be prepared to loosen your belt a notch or two!
