So, I’ve been craving something sweet and decided to whip up some desserts with raspberries and chocolate. I mean, who can resist that combo, right?

First, I gathered all the ingredients. I already had some frozen raspberries in the freezer, which was perfect. Then I grabbed some dark chocolate from the pantry – the good stuff, you know? I also checked if I had enough eggs, flour, and sugar, the usual baking suspects. Thankfully, I was all stocked up.

Amazing Desserts with Raspberries and Chocolate: Simple Recipes You Can Make Today!

Making the Chocolate Base

I decided to start with a simple chocolate brownie base. I just melted the chocolate in a bowl over simmering water – easy peasy. While that was happening, I beat together some eggs and sugar until they were all fluffy and light. I mixed in the melted chocolate and then folded in the flour. Nothing fancy, just your basic brownie batter.

Then, I poured the batter into a baking pan I had lined with parchment paper. I really hate it when things stick to the pan, so parchment paper is a lifesaver.

Adding the Raspberries

  • Before putting the pan in the oven, I scattered the frozen raspberries all over the top of the batter. I didn’t thaw them because I figured they would release some nice juice while baking, making the brownies extra moist.
  • I just pushed them in slightly so they wouldn’t just sit on top. I wanted them to be embedded in the brownie.

Then, into the oven it went! I baked it for about 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. I kept an eye on it, though. You know how ovens can be. I used the toothpick test to make sure it was done – it came out with just a few moist crumbs, which is what I was going for.

Once it was out of the oven, I let it cool down completely. It smelled so good, it was hard to resist digging in right away! But I knew it would be easier to cut when it was cool.

Finally, I cut the brownies into squares. The raspberries had softened and created these little pockets of tartness that were just amazing with the rich chocolate. I served them with a dollop of whipped cream because, why not? It was a total hit! Honestly, I ate way too many, but I have zero regrets.
