So, the other day, I was thinking, “I gotta try making some Indian food.” I’ve always been a fan of the curries, but never really tried to cook it myself. So I decided to check out this place called “Curry Original.” Sounds legit, right?
First, I did some digging online to see what they had. Found out it’s located at 253A Ontario St in Kingston. They have a phone number and website, but the website is under maintenance. Seems like a pretty popular spot based on reviews. And it’s open now. Then, I tried to find out more details about them, like reviews, ratings, and contact details. They got some pretty good reviews, so I was feeling optimistic.
Finding the Menu
Next, I wanted to see their menu. I like to know what I’m getting into, you know? I mean, “Curry Original” could be anything. Browsing the original menu was a bit tricky since their site was down. But I found it on other platforms after some searching. Found a place that listed some of their dishes and prices. Looked like they had a decent selection, not too overwhelming, which is good for a beginner like me.
Getting Inspiration
Then, just to make sure I wasn’t missing out, I looked around for other Indian places nearby. I don’t know why, maybe I was just curious. Found a few, like Olympia Billiards Take-Out, Delightfully Different Tea Room, and even a Quiznos (who knew they had curry?). They were all within about 1.24 kms of Curry Original.
Making My Choice
After all that looking around, I came back to Curry Original. Their menu seemed like the best fit for what I was craving. Plus, the reviews were solid. I figured, “What the heck, let’s give it a shot.” It is just a trial, and I did not try it yet.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at now. I’ve got my eye on Curry Original, I’ve seen their menu, and I’m feeling pretty good about trying it. Next step is actually going there and ordering something. Maybe I’ll try their Butter Chicken, it’s always a classic. I have not decided yet. Wish me luck!
- Pros: Good reviews, decent menu, seems popular.
- Cons: Website down.
I’ll let you guys know how it goes once I actually get around to ordering. Stay tuned!
