So, I’ve been meaning to try out this Lanna Thai place for a while now. Heard some good things, you know? Finally got around to it last week. I was digging around online, trying to get a feel for the place. I saw that their menu is getting some new additions, which is cool. Found a place in Laconia, NH, called Lanna Thai Restaurant. They seem to have a website where you can order and get delivery, which is super convenient.
Then I stumbled upon another spot, Lanna Thai Cuisine, in North Charleston, SC. Looks like they have a map and menu online, too. Nice to see what they offer before heading over. Seems like real deal, authentic Thai, you know, the kind where the recipes are passed down from grandma to mom to daughter. That’s the stuff I’m after. Fresh ingredients and all that jazz.
My First Steps
First, I looked up some basic info on Lanna Thai cuisine, and I mean, I was just curious. Apparently, some of the old-school dishes are kinda fading away, but some places are bringing them back. Cool, right?

Making a Decision
After browsing both, I figured I’d start with the Laconia spot since it’s closer. Plus, online ordering? Yes, please! I don’t have to talk to anyone. You know how that goes. Anyway, picked a few dishes that caught my eye. Some classics, and a couple of those revived dishes I read about. Gotta try them, right?
Ordering and Tasting
So, I placed my order online, no big deal. Food arrived pretty quick, I was impressed. Unpacked everything, and it all looked and smelled amazing. I dug in, and man, it was good. Like, really good. The flavors were on point. I could tell they use fresh stuff, just like they said.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, I was pretty stoked about the whole experience. It was easy to find info, order, and the food was legit. I will totally order from them again. And I’m definitely gonna check out that other place in North Charleston when I get a chance. If you’re into Thai food, or just wanna try something new, give Lanna Thai a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
