Okay, so today I wanna talk about this place, Luca Italian Cuisine. It’s up on Superior Viaduct in Cleveland, Ohio. I heard some good things, so I figured, why not check it out?
First off, getting there was pretty straightforward. I just put “2100 Superior Viaduct” into my GPS and it took me right there. It’s in this kind of old industrial area, but they’ve done a nice job making it look all fancy. Parking wasn’t too bad either. I found a spot on the street pretty easily.
The Atmosphere
When I walked in, I was immediately struck by the ambiance. It’s definitely got that romantic, upscale vibe going on. Dim lighting, nice tables, you know the drill. It felt really elegant, but not in a stuffy way. It was more relaxed elegant, if that makes sense.
I was meeting a friend for dinner, and it was the perfect setting for a good catch-up.
The Food
Now, onto the important part – the food! The menu is what I’d call “refined Northern Italian.” Lots of classic dishes, but with a little something extra. They had all the usual suspects: pasta, risotto, meat, and fish.
- I started with the calamari, and it was cooked perfectly. Not rubbery at all, which is always a good sign.
- For my main course, I went with the Osso Buco. Oh man, it was delicious! The meat was so tender, it just fell off the bone. And the sauce… I could have licked the plate clean, no joke.
- My friend ordered the Branzino, and she let me have a bite. It was really good too. Super fresh and flavorful.
We were both too full for dessert. The portions were pretty generous.
The Service
The service was top-notch. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. He knew the menu well and had some good recommendations.
Overall, I had a great experience at Luca Italian Cuisine. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice dinner out. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for some good Italian food in Cleveland. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but I think it’s worth it for a special occasion or a nice date night. You get what you pay for, you know?
If you do go, make sure to call ahead for reservations, especially on the weekends. It seems like a popular spot, so you don’t want to be disappointed. I called that day and they were able to squeeze me in, but I wouldn’t want to risk it again. I saw some people were enjoying the bar area as well. I’ll try that next time.
