Okay, here is my blog post about using my KitchenAid mixer to make some healthy recipes:

So, I finally decided to dust off that KitchenAid mixer my aunt got me for my wedding a few years back. I mean, it looks great on the counter, but I haven’t really used it for more than just making cookies a few times. I’ve been trying to eat healthier, and I figured there must be some good-for-you recipes I could whip up with this thing.

Top Healthy KitchenAid Mixer Recipes (Super Easy Meals For Beginners)

I started with something easy – banana “nice” cream. Basically, you just freeze a bunch of ripe bananas, then toss them in the mixer with the paddle attachment. I started it on low and then brought the speed up to medium. It was super loud at first, like it was struggling, and I was a little worried. But after a minute or two, the bananas started to break down. I added a splash of almond milk to get it going a little smoother and let it go for about three more minutes.

The result was this amazing, creamy, ice cream-like treat. I couldn’t believe it was just bananas! I sprinkled some chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey on top, and it was seriously delicious. And, more importantly, it felt good to eat something healthy that also satisfied my sweet tooth.

Next up, I tried making whole wheat bread.

This was a little more involved. I found a recipe online that seemed pretty straightforward. I used the dough hook attachment for this one. First, I mixed together warm water, yeast, and a bit of honey in the bowl. I let that sit for about 10 minutes until it got all foamy.

Then, I added in whole wheat flour, a little salt, and some olive oil. I started the mixer on low, just to get everything combined, and then I slowly increased the speed. The dough hook did all the hard work of kneading the dough for me. I let it run for about 8 minutes, and the dough became really smooth and elastic. After letting it rise a couple of times, I baked it in the oven, not the mixer, of course.

  • Mixing the dough: Using the dough hook made kneading a breeze.
  • Rising time: I did have to wait a while for the dough to rise, but that’s just part of baking bread.
  • Baking: The actual baking happened in my regular oven.

The bread turned out great! It was so satisfying to make my own bread from scratch, and it was much healthier than the store-bought kind. I’ve been enjoying it with avocado and a fried egg for breakfast.

Using my KitchenAid definitely made these healthy recipes way easier. I’m excited to try out more recipes and see what else I can create. Maybe some veggie noodles next? We’ll see!
