Okay, so I’ve been seeing this Chick-fil-A Peach Milkshake all over my social media, and I had to try making it at home. I mean, who doesn’t love a good milkshake? Especially a peach one? So I did a little digging, found some recipes, and decided to give it a whirl.
Gathering My Stuff
First things first, I needed to get all the ingredients. It looked pretty simple, thankfully. This is what my list came out to be:
- Peaches: I grabbed a bag of frozen sliced peaches. Figured that would be easier than dealing with fresh ones, you know, peeling and pitting and all that.
- Vanilla Ice Cream: I just got a regular tub of vanilla. Nothing fancy.
- Milk: I use the regular milk.
- Whipped Cream: For topping, of course! Had a can in the fridge already.
- Optional Cherry: because a cherry makes it look good! I don’t have this.
Putting It All Together
I pulled out my blender – it’s one of a normal blender. Then, I just started throwing stuff in. No real precise measurements, I just eyeballed it.
I tossed in a good amount of the frozen peaches, maybe like two big handfuls? Then, I scooped in a bunch of ice cream. Probably… four heaping scoops? I like my milkshakes thick. After that, I poured in some milk. Just enough to get things blending smoothly, not too much.
Blend, Blend, Blend!
I put the lid on tight (important step, don’t want a peach explosion!) and started blending. I blended it for a while, stopping a few times to scrape down the sides with a spatula. I wanted it to be really smooth, no chunks of ice cream or peach bits.
The Taste Test
Once it looked good and creamy, I poured myself a big glass. I topped it with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
And… drumroll… it was pretty darn good! Seriously, it tasted just like summer. The peach flavor was strong, and the milkshake was nice and thick, just the way I like it. I will say the peach taste is good. If my friend wants to try it, I will do it again!
