Okay, so I’ve been trying to up my dessert game lately, and I stumbled upon US Foods. I’d heard of them before, mostly for restaurants and stuff, but I figured, why not give it a shot for some serious baking inspiration? Here’s how it went down.
Digging In
First, I just went to their website… you know, poked around. I wanted to see what kind of desserts they even offered. I was thinking maybe some pre-made stuff, ingredients, or even just ideas.

They have this whole section for desserts, it is so cool! I clicked through and wow. So. Many. Options.
Getting My Hands Dirty (Well, Not Literally)
I started browsing through cheesecakes and pies. I saw a New York Style Cheesecake that looked incredible. And then, I saw a bunch of pre-made pie shells. That’s a great option.
I was feeling a little lazy, but at the same time I wanted to show off, so I decided to grab some bulk ingredients. I looked at their chocolate section. It was so easy to search and see the different products.
Making it happen!
I found lots of options for the different desserts.
- Cheesecakes: So many flavors and sizes, already made.
- Pies:I can buy pre-made crusts and frozen fillings.
- Cakes:Everything from simple layer cakes to super fancy decorated ones.
- Individual Desserts:Things like brownies, cookies, and mini cheesecakes. Perfect for portion control, or when I wanted to have multiple items.
It all came together way easier than I expected. I feel like the quality of the desserts I served really has gone up now, and all thanks to exploring what they have to offer! I can now make various desserts for friends and family with high-quality ingredients.
