Okay, so I’ve been seeing those air fryer recipes all over my feed, and I finally caved. I grabbed some ground beef from the store, thinking, “Let’s see what the hype is about.” I wasn’t even planning on making anything fancy, just wanted to cook the beef quickly.
Getting Started
First, I dumped about a pound of ground beef into a bowl. I didn’t have a specific recipe in mind, so I just sprinkled in some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a little bit of onion powder – you know, the usual suspects. I mixed it all up with my hands, making sure the seasoning got everywhere.

Air Fryer Time
Next, I preheated my air fryer to 400°F. While that was warming up, I shaped the beef into small patties, making sure the size is not very big. I didn’t want them to be too thick, because the main aim is cooked fast.
- Crumble the beef directly into the air fryer basket. Break it up into smaller pieces with a spoon or spatula.
- I placed the patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they weren’t overcrowding each other. I cooked them for about 7 minutes.
Check and cook
Then, I took out the patties and then put them back into the air fryer for about 3-5 minutes, just to make sure all have been cooked.
The Result
Honestly, it was surprisingly good! The ground beef was cooked perfectly, and it was so much faster and I think less greasy. This air fryer thing might actually be worth it. Next time, I’ll probably try some different seasonings, maybe make some actual burger patties or something. But for a quick, no-fuss way to cook ground beef, this is a winner!
