Okay, so yesterday I decided to try out this Vietnamese place called “King Pho Vietnamese Cuisine”. I’ve been craving pho for a while, and this place popped up with some pretty good reviews, so I figured, why not?
First off, finding the place was a little bit of challenge. It’s tucked away in a little plaza, and I almost drove right past it. I do recommend looking closely for it, or use a map app on the phone to make life a little easier.
Once I got inside, though, it was pretty nice. It’s not super fancy or anything, but it’s clean and the staff were all friendly. I sat down at a table and a nice server was fast with the menu.
The Menu
The menu had all the usual Vietnamese stuff – different kinds of pho, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and rice dishes. I was there for the pho, obviously. I went with their “special” pho, that came with all kinds of beef – rare steak, brisket, tendon, the whole nine yards. I also ordered some fresh spring rolls, because, I have to have appetizers with a meal.
Time for food
The spring rolls came out first. They were pretty good! Super fresh, with lots of mint and the peanut sauce was on point. Then came the main event – the pho. Let me tell you, the portion was HUGE. Like, I could barely finish it. The broth was really flavorful, not too salty, and it had that nice, deep beefy taste you want in a good pho. All the different cuts of beef were cooked well, and the noodles were perfect – not too soft, not too firm.

- Pho: Huge portion, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked beef and noodles.
I ended up taking some of the pho home because, like I said, it was a massive bowl. I managed to put it in a box.
Overall experience
Overall, I’d definitely recommend King Pho. It’s a solid spot for a good, hearty bowl of Vietnamese soup. It’s not the best pho I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely up there, and for the price and portion size, you really can’t beat it. Just be prepared for a potential food coma afterwards!
