Okay, so I bumped into this thing called “Convoy Beverage Alliance” and, man, it was a bit of a rabbit hole. Let me tell you what I did.
First, I just Googled it. Plain and simple. I typed in “Convoy Beverage Alliance” and hit enter. I wanted to see what this thing even was.
My Goal: Figure out what the heck Convoy Beverage Alliance is and how it works.
I started clicking on some results. What I found was pretty vague at first, but then, I got the idea.
Digging Deeper
I kept reading, and it became more apparent. This Alliance appears to be the collective purchasing power, with a bunch of independent beverage distributors, and they’re using it to get some leverage with bigger suppliers.
I went through a bunch of their listed members, one by one. Yeah, it took a while, but I wanted to see the scale of this thing.
- Checked out the names.
- Noted some of locations.
Then, I thought, “Okay, what’s the benefit here?” Besides better prices, which is obvious, what else are they getting?
I wanted to understand, not just what they were doing, but why. And I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on it now.
So, that’s my journey down the Convoy Beverage Alliance rabbit hole. It wasn’t super complicated, just took a bit of persistence, clicking, and reading. I think it worked out good, and now I, at least, understand.
