Okay, let’s talk about making some beef tips and egg noodles in the slow cooker. This is one of those meals that’s just pure comfort food. I tried this out the other day, and let me tell you, it turned out pretty darn good.

First off, I gathered all my ingredients. I used about 2 lbs of beef stew meat, but you could use sirloin tips too. Then, I chopped up one medium onion and minced about 3 cloves of garlic. You know, the usual suspects for flavor. I also got some beef broth, about 2 cups, and measured out 1/4 cup each of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. These are gonna give it that rich, savory flavor we’re after.

So, I started by putting the beef in the slow cooker. No need to brown it or anything, just threw it right in. Then, I added the chopped onions and minced garlic over the beef. I poured in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, making sure the beef was pretty much covered.

After that, I just put the lid on the slow cooker and set it to cook on low. Now, this is where patience comes in. I let it cook for a good 6-8 hours. You want that beef to get super tender, like fall-apart tender. It’s a long wait but it’s worth it in the end.

  • Cook on low: 6-8 hours

When the beef was done and super tender, I added the egg noodles. I just dumped them in and made sure they were submerged in the liquid. Then, I let it cook for another 20-30 minutes on low. You just want the noodles to get soft and soak up all that delicious sauce.

  • Add noodles: Cook for another 20-30 minutes

Getting Everything Ready

Once the noodles were cooked, I gave everything a good stir. The beef was so tender it pretty much fell apart when I stirred it, which is exactly what I wanted. The whole kitchen smelled amazing, by the way.

Finally, I dished it up and served it hot. It’s such a hearty and satisfying meal. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the noodles were just perfect. This slow cooker beef tips and egg noodles recipe is definitely a keeper. It’s easy, delicious, and perfect for a cozy night in. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!
