Alright, let’s talk about makin’ that artichoke dip, the kind that don’t need a whole lot of fuss. I heard some folks call it “artichoke dip 3 ingredients,” so I guess that means keepin’ it simple, right?

First off, you gotta get yourself some stuff. Don’t go runnin’ to the fancy store, any ol’ grocery store will do. You need a can of them artichoke hearts. Them things in water, not the marinated kind. We ain’t makin’ no salad here. Just plain artichoke hearts.
Next, you’ll be needin’ some mayonnaise. Now, I know some folks get all high and mighty about their mayonnaise, but any kind will work. Just the regular stuff you put on a sandwich. Nothin’ fancy.
And last, but not least, you gotta have some Parmesan cheese. The kind in the green can is just fine. Don’t go breakin’ the bank on some fancy cheese, this ain’t a contest. Just good ol’ grated Parmesan cheese.
- Canned artichoke hearts, the kind in water.
- Mayonnaise, any kind will do.
- Parmesan cheese, the grated kind in the green can.
Alright, now that you got your stuff, let’s get to makin’ the dip. It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. First, you gotta drain them artichoke hearts. Get all that water out, nobody wants a watery dip. Then, you chop ’em up. Not too fine, mind you, you still want some chunks in there. Just give ’em a good chop.
Then, you dump them chopped artichoke hearts in a bowl. Any bowl will do, just make sure it’s big enough to hold everything. Next, you scoop in your mayonnaise. I usually use about a cup, but you can use more or less depending on how creamy you like it. Just eyeball it, ain’t gotta be perfect.

Then, you sprinkle in your Parmesan cheese. Again, I don’t measure, just sprinkle it in until it looks right. You want enough to give it some flavor, but not so much that it’s all cheesy and dry. Just a good sprinkle.
Now comes the hard part… just kiddin’! All you gotta do now is mix it all up. Just stir it around until everything is all mixed together and it looks nice and creamy. That’s it! You’re done! See? I told you it was easy.
Now, you can eat it right away, but I like to let it sit in the fridge for a bit. It lets all the flavors get to know each other and makes it taste even better. But if you can’t wait, go ahead and dig in. I ain’t gonna stop ya.
What to eat with it? Well, crackers are always good. Them little round ones, or the square ones, whatever you like. You can also use chips, or even veggies, if you’re feelin’ healthy. Celery sticks are good, or little carrots. Or you can just eat it with a spoon, I ain’t judgin’.
Some folks, they get all fancy with their dips. They add garlic, and spinach, and all sorts of other things. But me? I like to keep it simple. Three ingredients, that’s all you need. Artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese. That’s it. And it’s darn good, if I do say so myself.

So there you have it, artichoke dip, three ingredients. Easy to make, and even easier to eat. Now go on and make yourself some, you won’t be sorry. And don’t forget to share, even though it’s so good you might wanna keep it all to yourself!
One last thing. If you want to make it a little bit fancier, you can put it in a nice bowl, or even hollow out a loaf of bread and put the dip in there. But honestly, it tastes just as good straight out of the mixing bowl, eaten with a spoon. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
And that’s all there is to it. Now go on and enjoy your artichoke dip. You earned it.
