Alright, so I wanted to do something kinda cool and different for my kitchen. I’m a big believer, and I thought, why not bring some of that good energy into the heart of my home? So, I started looking for some Bible verses that would just fit right in with the kitchen vibe.
First off, I scoured the internet, just browsing through different websites and blogs. I found some interesting stuff about, like, verses for when you’re feeling down or verses that are supposed to be inspiring for women. Then I found some sites explaining different parts of the Bible, like who wrote what and what it all means.

The Search
I spent a good chunk of time just reading through verses, trying to find ones that really resonated with me. Some of them were about trusting in God, which is always good. Others were about having joy and peace, which, let’s be real, everyone could use more of, right?
I stumbled across this one verse, 1 Corinthians 10:31, that talks about doing everything for the glory of God, even eating and drinking. And I thought, “Bingo!” That’s the kind of thing I want to be reminded of every time I’m cooking or just grabbing a snack.
Making It Happen
Once I had my verse, I started thinking about how I wanted to display it. I considered just writing it out on a piece of paper and sticking it on the fridge, but that felt kinda… boring.
- I looked at some wall decals online, but nothing really caught my eye.
- Then I thought about maybe painting it on a wooden sign.
- Finally, I decided to go with a simple, framed print.
I found a nice, minimalist font online, printed out the verse, and popped it into a frame I already had. And you know what? It looks pretty darn good hanging up in my kitchen.
It’s just a little thing, but every time I see it, it reminds me to be grateful for the food I have and to try to bring a little bit of that good energy into everything I do, even if it’s just making a sandwich. It is a simple and good idea.
Honestly, it’s been a really positive experience. I’m really feeling good about it. So if you’re thinking about adding a little bit of scripture to your kitchen, I say go for it! You might be surprised at how much of a difference it makes.
