Okay, so I’ve been seeing these adorable desserts in mason jars all over Pinterest and Instagram, and I finally decided to give them a try. I’m not a baker, like, at all. Seriously, I can burn water. But these looked easy enough, even for me, so here’s how it went.
My Mason Jar Dessert Adventure
First, I gathered all my stuff. This was the hardest part, honestly, because I had to actually go to the store. I picked up some cute little mason jars, you know, the ones with the handles? Super important for the aesthetic.

Then, I grabbed a bunch of ingredients. I’m talking Oreos (because, duh), some instant pudding mix (chocolate, obviously), whipped cream in a can (because ain’t nobody got time to make that from scratch), and some fresh strawberries because I wanted to feel at least a little bit healthy.
Layering It Up
The assembly was surprisingly fun. I started by crushing up a bunch of Oreos. I just put them in a Ziploc bag and smashed them with a rolling pin. It was good stress relief, I gotta say. That became the bottom layer in my jars.
Next, I mixed up the pudding according to the box directions. Easy peasy. I poured a layer of that on top of the crushed Oreos. It was already looking pretty good, even if I do say so myself.
Then, I sliced up the strawberries. I tried to make them look all fancy, but let’s be real, they just ended up in uneven chunks. Whatever, they still taste good. I arranged (or, more accurately, dumped) a layer of strawberries on top of the pudding.
And finally, the whipped cream! I sprayed a generous amount on top of everything. I mean, you can’t have too much whipped cream, right?
The Final Product (and Taste Test!)
I added some final small pieces of strawberry, and a couple of crashed Oreos.

And there you have it! My super simple, no-bake mason jar desserts. They actually looked pretty impressive, even if I say so myself. And the best part? They tasted amazing! The combination of the crunchy Oreos, the creamy pudding, the fresh strawberries, and the fluffy whipped cream was just perfect.
Honestly, I’m kind of obsessed now. I’m already planning my next mason jar dessert adventure. Maybe something with brownies and caramel? Or cheesecake filling and blueberries? The possibilities are endless!
