Alright, listen up, y’all! Got some leftover lobster, huh? Don’t you go throwin’ that good eatin’ away! I’m gonna tell ya some things to do with it, simple stuff, nothin’ fancy, just good food. We ain’t wastin’ nothin’ in this house, no siree!
First off, that lobster pasta thing. Yeah, that’s a good one. Boil up some noodles, any kind you got, don’t matter much. Then you take that lobster meat, chop it up a bit, and throw it in with the noodles. Add some butter, maybe some garlic if you got it. Salt and pepper, always salt and pepper. Mix it all up good, and there ya go! Lobster pasta, easy peasy.

Now, some folks like that risotto stuff. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t so hard. You need some rice, that Arborio rice they call it, but regular rice works too, just takes longer. Cook it up with some broth, chicken broth, veggie broth, whatever you got. When it’s almost done, stir in that lobster meat. You can put in some cheese too, if you want to be all highfalutin’. Makes it creamy and rich, like.
Another thing, lobster salad. This is good for a light lunch or somethin’. Just chop up that lobster, mix it with some mayonnaise, maybe some celery if you got it. Put it on some bread, or eat it outta the bowl, don’t matter to me. You can add a little lemon juice too, makes it tangy. My grandpappy used to love this, he’d eat a whole bowl of it, no problem.
- Lobster Omelet: Fry up some eggs, throw in the lobster. Good for breakfast, or anytime really. Don’t forget the salt and pepper and little butter will always make it taste better.
- Lobster Roll: Mix the lobster with mayo or melted butter, put it in a hot dog bun. Simple and tasty, a good sandwich for when you’re on the go.
- Lobster Stock: Don’t you be throwin’ away them shells! You can make a tasty stock. Just boil them shells with some water and a few veggies if you got ‘em. That broth is good for soups and such.
And don’t you be forgettin’ about them lobster shells! Don’t throw them away! You can make a broth outta them, real tasty broth. Just boil them shells with some water and a few veggies if you got ’em. That broth is good for soups and such. My neighbor Sally, she makes a lobster bisque with that broth, and it’s the best darn thing you ever tasted.
Now, if you got a whole bunch of lobster left, you can make a whole mess of stuff. Lobster mac and cheese, that’s a good one. Just make your regular mac and cheese and stir in the lobster. Kids love it, and grown-ups too, if they ain’t too picky.
Or how about some lobster dip? Mix that lobster with some cream cheese, sour cream, whatever you got. Add some spices, garlic powder, onion powder, whatever you like. Serve it with crackers or chips. Good for parties, or just sittin’ around watchin’ TV.
And remember, keep that lobster in the fridge, covered up good. Don’t let it sit out and go bad. Waste not, want not, that’s what my mama always said. So there ya go, some ideas for that leftover lobster. Now get cookin’!
How Long Does Cooked Lobster Last? Well, you keep it in the fridge, covered up tight mind you, and it’ll be good for three, maybe four days. Don’t push it past that though, unless you want a belly ache. And if you got a lot, you can freeze it too. Just put it in a freezer bag, squeeze out all the air, and it’ll last a good long while. When you want to use it, just thaw it out in the fridge overnight.

And that’s about all I know about leftover lobster. Just remember, keep it simple, keep it tasty, and don’t waste nothin’. Now go on and make somethin’ good!
