So, I’ve been wanting to give my kitchen a little spiritual makeover, and I thought, why not add some Bible quotes? I mean, the kitchen is where we nourish our bodies, so why not feed our souls there too?
First, I started by thinking about what kind of vibe I wanted. I decided I wanted something that would make me feel grateful and blessed every time I stepped into the kitchen. So, I started brainstorming verses that had to do with food, gratitude, and blessings.

- I jotted down a few of my favorites, like “Give us this day our daily bread” from Matthew 6:11. I love how it reminds me to be thankful for the simple things, like a good meal.
- Another one I really liked was “Taste and see that the Lord is good” from Psalm 34:8. It’s such a beautiful reminder to savor the good things in life and recognize God’s goodness in them.
Then, I started thinking about how I wanted to display these quotes. I didn’t want anything too flashy, just something simple and elegant.
- I considered getting some of those vinyl wall decals, but I wasn’t sure if they would stick well to my kitchen walls.
- I also thought about framing some handwritten quotes, but my handwriting is atrocious, so that was a no-go.
Finally, I decided to go with some simple wooden signs. I found a few online that I really liked. They were pretty cheap, and they had a nice, rustic look that I thought would fit well with my kitchen decor.
- I ordered a couple of signs with the quotes I had chosen.
- When they arrived, I was so excited! I hung them up right away, one above the sink and one above the stove.
The Result
Now, every time I’m in the kitchen, I see these beautiful reminders of God’s goodness and provision. It’s amazing how such a small change can make such a big difference in the atmosphere of a room. It just feels more peaceful and joyful in there now. I even find myself humming worship songs while I cook, which is something I never used to do before! It’s not perfect, but you get the idea.
I’m so glad I decided to add these Bible quotes to my kitchen. It’s like a little daily dose of inspiration and gratitude. And honestly, it just makes me happy to look at them. It makes my kitchen look great.
