So, I’ve been craving some good old Chinese takeout lately, you know, the kind that just hits the spot? Well, I finally decided to give this place called Blossom Asian Cuisine a try. I’d heard some good things about them, and their menu looked pretty legit, so I figured, why not?
First off, I checked out their menu online. They’ve got all the classics you’d expect – Kung Pao Chicken, Mapo Tofu, Fried Rice, Chow Mein, the whole nine yards. They also mentioned they’ve been around since 2006, so they must be doing something right, I thought to myself.

I decided to keep it simple and ordered for takeout. The place is located on W Lower Buckeye Rd, which was a bit of a drive for me, but hey, good food is worth it, right? They also do dine-in, which is cool if you’re in the area.
Placing the order was a breeze. I called them up, told them what I wanted, and they said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. Perfect. I hopped in my car and drove over there.
When I got there, the place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. It’s a casual, no-frills kind of spot, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. I paid for my food, grabbed my order, and headed back home.
Once I got home, I unpacked the food and dug in. Let me tell you, it was delicious! I had the Kung Pao Chicken, and it was perfectly spicy and flavorful. Their fried rice was also on point – not too greasy, just the right amount of seasoning.
Here’s the lowdown:
- Food: Solid Chinese-American classics. Definitely satisfied my craving.
- Service: Quick and friendly. No complaints there.
- Atmosphere: Casual and unassuming. Good for a quick bite or takeout.
- Location: A bit out of the way for me, but not a deal-breaker.
- Overall: I’d definitely go back to Blossom Asian Cuisine. It’s a great spot for some tasty, no-fuss Chinese food. They also have some new flavors and new dishes from other Asian cuisines, Japanese, Korean, and Malaysian food. I think I will try their new dishes next time.
If you’re in the Tolleson area and looking for some good Chinese takeout, give Blossom a try. You won’t be disappointed.
