Alright, so I’ve been meaning to check out this spot called Broadway Heights in Chico for a while now. They say it’s got some good California cuisine, and I’m always down to try a new place. So, the other day, I finally made it happen.
First off, I did a little digging online because, you know, gotta scope out the menu beforehand. I found out they have delivery through this service called Entree Express, which is cool if you’re feeling lazy. But I wanted the full experience, so I decided to dine in.
They’ve got a decent menu, I gotta say. Everything from appetizers and salads to focaccia sandwiches, pizzas, and even some fancier dinner entrees. They even have some beer on the menu. I was pretty excited, not gonna lie.
So, I headed over there. The place itself is pretty nice. It’s got that laid-back California vibe, you know? I grabbed a table and started perusing the menu for real this time.
I ended up going with one of their pizzas. It sounded pretty tasty on the menu, and it did not disappoint. The crust was just right, not too thick, not too thin. And the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Seriously, it was good stuff.
I washed it all down with a local beer, just to keep it real, you know? Overall, it was a solid meal. I mean, it wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it was definitely up there. And the atmosphere was chill, which is always a plus.
Oh, and I saw they take reservations, which is good to know if you’re planning on going during a busy time. And they’re accessible, which is always important.

- Ordered a pizza and a beer.
- Ate the pizza, which was pretty good.
- Finished the beer, feeling satisfied.
If you’re ever in Chico and looking for a decent place to grab some California-style food, I’d say give Broadway Heights a shot. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s a solid choice for a casual meal. But who knows you might like it more than me, as they have other food choices, like sandwiches and entrees. But my experience is limited to their pizza. At least the pizza’s good, you will not regret.
