Okay, so, let’s talk about these “Recess” drinks I’ve been trying out. I saw some fancy ads about them and figured, why not give them a shot? They are supposed to be good for you, you know?
First off, I went ahead and ordered a variety pack online. The website was super easy to navigate. After placing my order, I just waited.

When the package finally arrived, I opened it up and found a bunch of colorful cans. Each one had a different flavor listed, like, “Coconut Lime” and “Pomegranate Hibiscus.” Sounded pretty good, right?
Now, I’m not a scientist, but I did read the labels. They mention something about “hemp” and “adaptogens.” Apparently, hemp is supposed to help you relax and adaptogens are some kind of herbs that are good for stress. These drinks also claim to be made in Denmark and to have some sort of certification. Sounds all healthy, sure.
- I tried the Coconut Lime first.
- Then I moved on to the Blackberry Chai.
- After that, I chugged down the Blood Orange.
I drank one each day for a week. Did I feel any different? Honestly, not really. Maybe a little calmer, maybe not. It’s hard to say. They tasted okay, kind of like sparkling water with a hint of something extra. But as for being some sort of miracle drink, I wasn’t convinced.
My Conclusion
So, after finishing the whole pack, I decided that these Recess drinks are probably not something I’d buy again. They’re not bad, but they are also not some magic potion that fixed all my problems, you know? Maybe if you’re really into these kinds of healthy drinks, you might like them. But for me, I’ll probably just stick to my regular water or juice. No big deal, right?
