Alright, let’s talk about this Yufeng Asian Cuisine place, y’know, the one down on Evans Road. It’s tucked in that little strip mall, right below that Arby’s. You know the place, got that big ol’ parking lot.
Now, I ain’t no fancy food critic or nothin’, but I can tell ya what I see and what I taste. This place, it ain’t huge, but it’s got tables and chairs if you wanna sit and eat. But, seems like most folks just grab their food and go. Take-out, they call it. Guess folks are busy these days, always runnin’ around.

They got this place at 2339 E Evans Rd, in San Antonio. That’s what the sign says, and that’s what the young’uns told me when I asked. Said you can even order online now. Imagine that! Clickin’ buttons and food just shows up. Back in my day, you had to walk miles just for a loaf of bread, let alone fancy Asian food.
- They got real deal Chinese food, the real tasty kind.
- You wanna see what they got, they got this thing called a “menu.” It’s a list of all the food they make.
- And if you too lazy to go, or too busy, you can order online and then just go pick it up. Easy peasy.
They say it’s the best Chinese food in San Antonio. Well, I ain’t tried every place in town, mind you, but this stuff is pretty darn good. Makes my mouth water just thinkin’ about it. They got all sorts of dishes, some I can’t even pronounce, but they sure are tasty.
Now, this ain’t one of them fancy pants restaurants, ya hear? It’s just a good, honest place to get a good, honest meal. They ain’t tryin’ to be somethin’ they ain’t, and that’s what I like about it. Just good food, plain and simple.
I heard some folks online, on that Tripadvisor thing, they’re talkin’ about it too. Seems like they like it just fine. Ranked number somethin’ or other, but I don’t pay much mind to them numbers. I trust my own taste buds, and they tellin’ me this food is good eatin’.
So, if you find yourself on Evans Road, and you’re hungry for some good authentic Chinese food, you might wanna stop by Yufeng Asian Cuisine. It ain’t gonna break the bank, and it’ll fill your belly right up. Just look for that little strip mall below Arby’s. You can’t miss it.
They got all the classics, you know, the stuff everyone likes. And they got some other things too, things I never even heard of. But that’s the fun part, tryin’ new stuff. You never know what you might like.
And listen here, they open pretty much every day. But you should check their hours, just in case. Wouldn’t want you drivin’ all the way down there and findin’ them closed. That’d be a waste of gas money, wouldn’t it?

So there you have it, my two cents on Yufeng Asian Cuisine. It’s a good place to get some good food, run by good folks. Nothin’ fancy, just good eatin’. And in my book, that’s all that matters. So go on down there and try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. San Antonio Chinese food at its finest, that’s what I say!
And remember, you can order online for pickup. That’s what the youngsters do these days. Saves you time and trouble. But me? I like to go in and see the folks, say hello. It’s the neighborly thing to do.
So whether you want to dine in or take out, Yufeng Asian Cuisine has got you covered. Just go on down there and see for yourself. Tell ’em I sent ya. They might not know who I am, but that’s alright. Just tell ’em the old lady down the street said their food is mighty fine.
Anyways, I’m gettin’ hungry just talkin’ about it. Maybe I’ll head on down there myself. Get me some of that good Chinese takeout. Yeah, that sounds just about right.
