Alright, so I was feeling a bit lazy but still wanted something hearty and delicious, and that’s how I ended up making this crock-pot beef tips and noodles. It’s one of those recipes where you just dump everything in and let the slow cooker do its magic. Super simple, super tasty.

First off, I grabbed about 2 pounds of stew meat. Nothing fancy, just whatever was on sale at the store. I cut the beef into bite-sized pieces, around 1 inch or so. Then I seasoned them up with some salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder. You know, just the basics to give it some flavor.

Next, I threw the beef into the crock-pot. I didn’t bother browning it or anything because, honestly, who has time for that? Then I dumped in a can of cream of mushroom soup, a packet of onion soup mix, and a couple of cups of beef broth. I gave it a good stir to make sure everything was mixed well.

  • 2 pounds stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 cups beef broth

I set the slow cooker to low and let it cook for about 6-8 hours. You could also do it on high for 3-4 hours if you’re in a hurry, but I find that low and slow is the way to go for tender beef.

Add Noodles Later

About 30 minutes before it was done, I cooked some egg noodles according to the package directions. Once they were cooked, I drained them and added them to the crock-pot. I stirred everything together to make sure the noodles were coated in that delicious sauce.

Finally, I let it all cook together for another 15-20 minutes, just to heat the noodles through and let the flavors meld. And that’s it! I served it up in bowls, and it was a hit with the whole family. The beef was super tender, the noodles were coated in a rich, savory sauce, and it was just the perfect comfort food for a chilly evening.

Honestly, this crock-pot beef tips and noodles is a game-changer. It’s so easy to make, and it tastes like you spent hours slaving away in the kitchen. Plus, it’s a great way to use up those cheaper cuts of meat. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a simple, satisfying meal.
