Alright, let’s talk about this Veekoo Asian food place. I heard they got all sorts of eats, you know, Asian stuff. Sounds fancy, but I ain’t scared. Food is food, right?

What kinda grub they got?
Now, I ain’t seen the actual menu myself, but from what folks are yappin’ about, they got a whole mess of things. They say it’s “Asian cuisine,” which I guess means food from over yonder, far away.
- Chinese food: You know, like them noodles and that General Tso’s chicken everyone’s always goin’ on about. I tried it once at the county fair, kinda sweet, kinda spicy, not bad.
- Japanese food: This is the one with the raw fish, right? Sushi, they call it. I ain’t too sure about that raw stuff, but my grandson says it’s good. They also got other things, I hear, cooked stuff too.
- Other Asian stuff: They say it’s “fusion,” which sounds like a big ol’ mix to me. Maybe some Thai food, some Vietnamese, who knows? As long as it’s tasty, I ain’t complainin’.
They say this Veekoo place is in Royersford, Pennsylvania. That’s a bit of a drive for me, but if the food’s good, maybe it’s worth it. Heck, I’ve driven farther for a good flea market.
Is it any good, though?
Well, like I said, I ain’t been there myself, but folks seem to like it. They say the place is clean, the people are nice, and the food is…well, they use all them fancy words, like “exceptional dining experience” and “blends traditional and contemporary.” Sounds like a lot of hot air to me, but I guess it means it’s good.

I heard they got them noodles, lots of different kinds. And rice, of course. And all sorts of meats and veggies cooked up in different ways. Some spicy, some not so spicy. Something for everyone, I reckon.
They also do takeout, which is good for folks like me who don’t always feel like sittin’ in a fancy restaurant. I can just grab my food and go home, eat it in my comfy chair while watchin’ my stories.
What’s the place like?
From what I hear, it’s a nice enough place. Clean, like I said. And they take reservations, which is good if you don’t wanna wait around. They even deliver, if you’re feelin’ lazy.
They’re located on 333 North 10th Avenue in Royersford. Easy enough to find, I guess. I got my GPS, so I ain’t worried about gettin’ lost. Though, truth be told, I still prefer a good ol’ paper map.

Should you go?
Well, that’s up to you, ain’t it? If you’re lookin’ for some Asian food, and you’re in the Royersford area, it might be worth checkin’ out. Like I said, people seem to like it. And I’m always up for tryin’ new things, even if it’s got a fancy name like “Asian fusion.”
I tell you what, next time my grandson comes to visit, maybe I’ll drag him over there. He’s always eatin’ out at these fancy places, he can tell me if it’s worth the fuss. And if it ain’t, well, there’s always that burger joint down the road.
But I’m keepin’ an open mind. You never know, this Veekoo place might just surprise me. Might be the best darn Asian food I ever ate. Or it might be just another restaurant. Only one way to find out, I guess.
So, if you’re feelin’ adventurous, go on and give it a try. And if you do, let me know what you think. I’m always lookin’ for a good place to eat.

And one more thing, don’t be scared to ask questions. If you don’t know what somethin’ is, just ask. The folks there are probably used to folks like me who ain’t too familiar with all this fancy food. They’ll help you out, I’m sure.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about this Veekoo place. Hope it helps you decide if you wanna go or not. Me? I’m still on the fence, but I’m leanin’ towards givin’ it a try. Like I said, food is food, and I ain’t one to turn down a good meal.
