Today I’m gonna show you how to whip up some dream whip. Dream Whip, yeah, that stuff. It’s super easy to make and tastes way better than that store-bought stuff. Plus, you can use it for all sorts of desserts, not just pies. Let’s get started.
Gathering the Ingredients
First, I grabbed everything I needed. It’s a pretty short list, which is always a good thing. I just made a simple way. You’ll need:

- Dream Whip mix (of course)
- Cold milk
- Vanilla extract
Mixing It Up
I dumped the Dream Whip mix into a bowl, then poured in the cold milk and a splash of vanilla. It should be noted that the milk must be cold, other than that there is not much to pay attention * package says 1/2 cup of milk, but I usually eyeball it. I like mine a little thicker. You can always add more milk later if you want it thinner.
Whipping It Good
Next, I grabbed my electric mixer and started beating the mixture. You gotta start slow, or you’ll end up with a face full of powder. After about a minute, I cranked it up to high speed and let it go until it started to form peaks. This usually takes about 4 minutes, but it depends on your mixer and how cold your milk is. Just make sure to whip it until it is light and * process is very important and don’t take it for granted.
When it looked like stiff peaks were forming, I stopped the mixer and checked the consistency. Perfect! It was light, fluffy, and held its shape. If it’s still too runny, just keep mixing. I whipped mine for about another minute to get it just right.
Enjoying the Fruits of My Labor
Finally, I grabbed a spoon and took a big taste. It was delicious! Way better than that Cool Whip stuff. I used it to top a chocolate cream pie I made, and it was the perfect finishing touch. I also used some to make a no-bake pumpkin dessert a while back, and it was a huge hit. You can use this stuff on anything, really.
So there you have it. Making Dream Whip is a piece of cake (pun intended). Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
Oh, and one more thing. I found out that Dream Whip is non-dairy. Who knew? I always thought it had some kind of dairy in it. I guess you learn something new every day.
And I also looked into the actual ingredients. Fully Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Whey Powder from milk, Sugar, Emulsifiers and so on. Cool Whip has different stuff like water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, skimmed milk. I guess that explains the taste difference.

But who cares, all I know is that I love using it for my desserts and I hope you give this a try sometime soon!
