Okay, so I’ve been trying to eat a little healthier lately, and I saw Dunkin’ has these egg white and veggie omelet bites. I figured, “Why not try to make them myself?” It seemed easy enough, and I wanted to know exactly what was going into them. So, I did it! Here’s how it went:
First, I looked up the ingredients online. You know, just to get a general idea. I found some copycat recipes, and most of them seemed pretty similar.

My Grocery Run
Next, I went to the grocery store to grab everything I needed. This is what I picked up:
- Eggs, of course – just the whites, though.
- Some veggies: I chose spinach, red bell pepper, and some onion. Just seemed like a good combo.
- Cheese: I went with a little Monterey Jack, because why not.
- Salt and pepper: Gotta have the basics!
- Olive Oil.
Cooking Time!
When I got home and It was cooking time!
First I Preheated my oven to 350°F (175°C).
I chopped up all the veggies super small. I wanted them to cook evenly and not be too chunky in the little bites. Then, I whisked the egg whites with a pinch of salt and pepper. You gotta make sure they’re nice and frothy, you know?
I greased a muffin tin with olive oil. This is important so they don’t stick! Then, I put a little bit of the veggies and cheese into each muffin cup. After that, I carefully poured the egg whites over the veggies, filling each cup about ¾ full.
I popped the muffin tin into the oven and baked them for around 20-25 minutes. I just kept an eye on them until they looked set and slightly golden brown on top. you can check them by inserting a toothpick into the center of a bite. If it comes out clean, they’re done.

The Result
And that was it! I pulled them out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, and then popped them out of the tin. They actually looked pretty good! And you know what? They tasted pretty darn close to the Dunkin’ ones, but I felt better knowing exactly what was in them. Plus, it was way cheaper to make a whole batch myself!
It is my first time doing this! I think i will do it again!
