First off, findin’ the place ain’t too hard. It’s in that there Chamblee place, which I guess is near Atlanta. Now, I ain’t never been to Thailand, but they say this food is “authentic Thai.” Whatever that means, it sure is tasty.
I went there with my… well, never mind who I went with. Point is, we walked in and it was kinda lively, ya know? Lots of folks eatin’ and chattin’. That’s always a good sign, right? If a place is empty, you gotta wonder why. But this Wild Ginger place, it was buzzin’ like a beehive.
Now, I ain’t got no pictures to show ya, but lemme tell ya ’bout the food. They got all sorts of stuff. Noodles, rice, curries… you name it. I heard some folks sayin’ they got 33 photos and 17 tips from 633 visitors. That’s a whole lotta folks! They must be doin’ somethin’ right.
- Noodles: They got these noodles, I think they call ’em Pad Thai. They’re kinda sweet and tangy, with peanuts and shrimp and stuff. Real good eatin’.
- Rice: And the rice! They got plain rice, and they got rice with all sorts of stuff mixed in. I had some rice with chicken and vegetables. It filled me right up.
- Curry: Oh, and the curry! Now, I ain’t always been a curry fan. Sometimes it’s too spicy, ya know? But this curry, it was just right. Not too hot, not too mild. Just perfect. They say it’s a journey of Thai taste. I guess that’s true. It sure took my taste buds on a trip.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout makin’ reservations. I guess that’s a good idea if you’re goin’ at a busy time. We just walked in, but it was kinda early. And they even do delivery, which is mighty handy if you don’t feel like goin’ out. Someone mentioned Tripadvisor, so I guess they got good reviews there too.
The folks workin’ there, they were real nice too. Always smilin’ and askin’ if we needed anythin’. That’s important, ya know? Good food is one thing, but good service makes it even better. And this place got both.
I ain’t got no fancy words to describe the food, ya know? It’s just… good. Plain and simple. It’s the kind of food that makes you feel good inside. Comfort food, I guess you could call it. Even though it’s kinda different from the food I usually eat, it still felt… familiar. Like somethin’ my grandma woulda made, if she knew how to cook Thai food, that is.
They got this menu, but I didn’t really look at it too hard. I just asked the nice lady what was good, and she told me. And she was right! Everything we had was delicious. I ate so much, I thought I was gonna bust! But it was worth it. Every bite was a little piece of heaven.
So, if you’re ever in that there Atlanta area, or Chamblee, or wherever it is, you gotta check out this Wild Ginger Thai Cuisine place. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good. It’s the kind of place you can go with your family, your friends, or even just by yourself. And you won’t be disappointed. Trust me on this one. I know good food when I taste it.
