Okay, so I’ve been seeing these Pedialyte pops all over TikTok, and I figured, why not give them a try? I mean, who doesn’t love a good popsicle, especially when it’s supposed to be hydrating? So, I decided to make some and document the whole shebang.
Getting Started: The Shopping Trip
First things first, I headed to the store. I needed Pedialyte, obviously. I grabbed a bottle of the unflavored stuff, thinking I could customize it later. And, of course, I needed popsicle molds. I found some basic ones – nothing fancy, just your standard plastic molds.

Mixing It Up: Experimentation Time
Back home, I got everything out. I poured some Pedialyte into a measuring cup. Now, the unflavored stuff… it’s not exactly delicious on its own. So, I decided to add a little something extra. I squeezed in some lemon juice. Just a bit, to give it a little zing. You could probably use any juice you like, really. Orange, maybe? Grape?
- Pedialyte (unflavored)
- Lemon juice (or whatever you want!)
- Popsicle molds
The Pour and the Freeze
After giving it a good stir, I carefully poured the mixture into the popsicle molds. I made sure not to overfill them, because, you know, expansion. Then, I carefully placed the molds in the freezer. I tried to make them lie flat to do so.
The Waiting Game… and the Result!
And then, the hardest part: waiting. It took a few hours, like maybe four or five? I checked on them a couple of times, poking them impatiently. Finally, they were solid! I ran the molds under a little warm water to loosen them up, and pulled out my homemade Pedialyte pops.
They looked pretty good, if I do say so myself. And the taste? Actually, not bad! The lemon juice definitely helped. It was a refreshing, slightly salty-sweet treat. Kind of like a very mild, frozen lemonade. I can see why these are popular, and would definitely say I’d consider making some again, but that I would probably try a different juice.
