Fireart Cuisine: Delicious Noodles and Vegetarian Options

Well, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Fireart Cuisine. I ain’t no fancy food critic or nothin’, just a plain ol’ person who likes to eat good food. And this place, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya.

Fireart Cuisine: Delicious Noodles and Vegetarian Options

First off, they got this BBQ chicken. Now, I’ve had my share of chicken, but this here chicken, it’s somethin’ special. Tender, juicy, falls right off the bone. And the flavor, oh honey, it’s like a party in your mouth. They got this beef too, same deal, tender and tasty. And don’t even get me started on the shrimp. Big ol’ shrimps, cooked just right, not all rubbery like some places.

They also got these vegetables, cooked in a big ol’ pan, they call it a “wok” I think. They throw in some noodles too, these long, skinny things, boiled real slow. And the sauce, lord have mercy, it’s got a kick to it! They say it’s their “legendary chilly sauce.” Legendary is right! It’ll warm ya right up, but it ain’t too hot, just right. My grandkids, they love it!

  • They got chicken, real tender like.
  • Beef too, melts in your mouth, ya know?
  • Shrimp, big and juicy, not like them tiny little things.
  • And veggies, cooked with noodles and a sauce that’ll make ya sweat a little.

Now, they don’t just throw everything in there all willy-nilly. They add in some walnuts, for crunch I guess, and some fruits, fresh and dried. It sounds kinda weird, but trust me, it works. It gives it a little sweetness, a little somethin’ extra. My old man, he don’t usually like this kind of food, but even he gobbled it right up.

They call it Chinese food, I think. I ain’t never been to China, but if this is what they eat over there, then them folks know how to cook! And get this, they even got stuff for them vegetarians. My niece, she don’t eat no meat, and she found plenty to eat. She had somethin’ called Kung Pao Tofu and Mapo Tofu, and some Garlic Broccoli. She said it was real good, so I guess they know how to cook veggies real good too.

Fireart Cuisine, that’s what they call it. It’s in this place called Kailua-Kona, on Henry Street. I ain’t good with numbers, but it’s somethin’ like 75-1027. They open pretty much all day, from 10 in the mornin’ till 9:30 at night. You can go there and eat, or you can get it to go. They call it “takeout,” I think. Either way, it’s good food, and that’s all that matters to me.

You can even order online, which is mighty convenient for folks like me who don’t like to wait around. They say it’s the best Chinese takeout in Kona. I wouldn’t know about that, but I can tell ya, it’s mighty tasty. So, if you’re ever in Kona and you’re hungry, go on down to Fireart Cuisine. You won’t be disappointed. They got pictures of their food too, lots of ’em, somethin’ like 242 photos they say. Makes your mouth water just lookin’ at ’em.

And let me tell you, the portions are big, real big. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. I always have leftovers, which is fine by me, ’cause it means I get to eat it again the next day. And it’s just as good the second time around, maybe even better.

So there ya have it, my two cents on Fireart Cuisine. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good, honest food. And that’s what matters most to a simple person like me. Just good food, plain and simple.
