Okay, here we go! I’m excited to share my experience making this cranberry dessert with cream cheese.
So, I started by gathering all the stuff I needed. I grabbed some cream cheese, mayo (yeah, it sounds weird, but trust me), sugar, a can of cranberry sauce, and some Cool Whip. I’m not a big fan of making whipped cream from scratch, so Cool Whip it is!

First, I took a medium-sized bowl and dumped in the cream cheese, mayo, and sugar. I mixed those together until they were all smooth and friendly with each other. There weren’t any lumps left in the mix, and it took some time to get it.
Breaking up the Cranberry
Next, I opened the can of cranberry sauce and used a spoon to break it up a bit. I didn’t want huge chunks, so I mashed it up a little, but not too much. Then I added the cranberry sauce into the cream cheese mix.
I mixed everything together real good. I made sure the cranberry sauce was evenly mixed in with the cream cheese, mayo, and sugar mixture. It took some elbow grease, but I got there in the end.
Folding in the Cool Whip
Then came the fun part, the Cool Whip! I folded it into the mix. “Folding” just means gently mixing it in so you don’t lose all the air in the Cool Whip. I did this until it was all combined, and there weren’t any big streaks of white left.
- Started with the cream cheese, mayo, and sugar.
- Broke up the cranberry sauce.
- Combined everything together.
- Folded in the Cool Whip.
And that’s it! I tasted it to make sure it was sweet enough, and it was perfect. Super easy, right? I put some in a bowl and dug in. I gotta say that it is a simple dessert to make when the craving is in.
I hope you enjoyed my little kitchen adventure. I’m not a professional chef or anything, I just like to try stuff. But I think this one turned out pretty good. Let me know if you decide to make this, okay? Bye!
