Man, I’ve been meaning to revamp my kitchen for ages, and I finally took the plunge. I decided to go all out and splurge on some new “la cuisine” appliances. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey!
First off, I had to figure out what I actually needed. I mean, I already had a fridge and a stove, but they were ancient. I made a list of what I had and what I wanted, you know?

- Fridge: My old one was a dinosaur, always freezing stuff in the back.
- Stove: Burners were uneven, the oven took forever to heat up. A total pain.
- Dishwasher: Didn’t have one, and hand-washing dishes is the worst.
- Microwave: The old one was okay, but I figured I might as well upgrade.
So, after a ton of research, which mostly involved browsing pictures and reading reviews, I settled on the appliances I wanted. I wanted that fancy French-door fridge and a sleek gas range that looked like it belonged in a chef’s kitchen. Then I found a dishwasher that was super quiet, which is great because my kitchen is right next to the living room.
Ordering everything was a whole other ordeal. Had to measure everything like five times to make sure it would fit. Then, I had to wait for delivery, which felt like forever. The day they arrived, it was like Christmas morning, but with way more heavy lifting.
Getting the old appliances out and the new ones in was a workout. I had to get a friend to help me with the fridge, it was a beast. The stove was tricky too because of the gas line. I ended up calling a guy to hook that up. I ain’t messing with gas.
But let me tell you, once everything was in and working, it was amazing. I felt like I was on one of those cooking shows. The fridge keeps everything at the perfect temperature. The stove heats up so fast, and the oven bakes evenly. And the dishwasher? A lifesaver. I can actually relax after dinner now.
Cooking with them is so enjoyable!
I’ve been cooking up a storm since I got everything installed. Everything just works so much better. It’s like, I didn’t realize how bad my old appliances were until I got these new ones. I made a roast chicken the other day, and it came out perfectly golden brown. The skin was crispy, and the meat was juicy. It was restaurant-quality, I swear.
It’s not just the big stuff, either. Even the new microwave is great. It heats things up evenly, so no more cold spots in my leftovers. Overall, I’m super happy with my new “la cuisine” appliances. It was a big investment, but it’s totally worth it. My kitchen feels brand new, and I actually enjoy cooking now. It’s a whole new world in there!
