Today, I felt like having some sweets, so I decided to explore the dessert scene in Toulouse. I’ve heard so much about the amazing pastries and sweets here, and I was really excited to try them out.
I started my sweet journey early in the morning. First, I walked into a cute little place called Elonore. The smell of fresh pastries just pulled me right in. I grabbed a croissant, and oh boy, it was so flaky and buttery! It was a perfect start.

Here’s how my day went:
-
Elonore: As I mentioned, their croissants are a must-try. I also saw they had some fancy-looking cakes, but I saved those for another time. They made me feel good.
-
Le Salon d’Eugnie: This place was more of a sit-down kind of spot. I ordered a little chocolate tart, and it was rich and delicious. They had a ton of other sweets, too. I saw some people enjoying what looked like really good macarons.
-
L’Atelier du Chocolat: Okay, this place is a chocolate lover’s dream. They had everything chocolate – bars, truffles, hot chocolate. I went a little crazy and bought a few different things to try. It made my day.
-
Perlette: I stumbled upon this bakery later in the day. I got a little something called a “pain au chocolat.” It’s like a chocolate croissant but even better. Seriously, so good. I almost went back for another one.
-
Julie Cookie’s Bike: I am not sure if this is a store. I just saw someone riding a bike with lots of cookies on it. I didn’t get a cookie, but it looked fun!
By the end of the day, I was on a serious sugar high, haha. But it was totally worth it. Toulouse really knows how to do desserts. I didn’t get to try every place I wanted, but that just means I have a good reason to come back. If you’re ever in Toulouse and you have a sweet tooth, you gotta check out these places. You won’t regret it!

My takeaways from today:
