So, I’ve been seeing this drink, Laziza, pop up everywhere lately. You know, the one that says “delicious” right on the bottle? Yeah, that’s the stuff. Figured I’d give it a shot since, well, who can resist something that calls itself delicious? Plus, it’s non-alcoholic, which is a nice change of pace.
First off, I grabbed a few different flavors from the store. They’ve got a whole bunch – apple, raspberry, peach, even a plain one. I’m a sucker for fruity stuff, so I went with the peach and apple this time around. And they also have a strawberry flavor and a pomegranate flavor. They are all in glass bottles and each is 330ML. I bought 2 packs of the peach flavor and they all look great.
Popped open the peach one first. It’s got this light, fizzy thing going on, kinda like a soda but not as sugary, you know? The peach flavor is definitely there, but it’s not, like, overpowering. It’s actually pretty refreshing. It contains water, malted barley, maize, hops. It says that it is made out of pure water and flavored malt. It is healthy and low in calories. I am pretty sure it does not contain any alcohol. It tastes a bit like beer but without any kick from alcohol. I think it is a good choice for those people who are prohibited from alcohol.
- Smell: Smells like a ripe peach, not artificial at all.
- Taste: Fizzy, light peach flavor. Not too sweet.
- Feels: Kinda like a less sugary soda.
Next up, I tried the apple. Same deal – fizzy, light, and the apple taste is pretty spot on. I could see myself drinking this on a hot day, for sure. They are all non-alcoholic drinks and I think they could be a choice for people of all ages.
The bottle says it’s made with water, malted barley, and hops. I guess that’s what gives it that beer-like vibe, but without the alcohol, obviously. It also contains maize. They say it’s 0% alcohol. I think I can drink it without any concern. Honestly, I was kinda surprised. I didn’t expect a non-alcoholic malt drink to be this good. It also indicates that it is healthy and low in calories. I might actually buy this again sometime. If you’re looking for something different, non-alcoholic, and not crazy sweet, Laziza is worth a try. You might just be surprised like I was!
I also heard someone say that in Arabic, “Laziza” means delicious or delightful. No wonder the producer names it “Laziza”! It’s pretty cool, right?
