Hey, you ever heard of that Pho Vy Vietnamese Cuisine? I tell ya, I went there the other day, and it was somethin’ else.
Pho Vy Vietnamese Cuisine – Best Food in Town
First off, this place, they got all kinds of food. Not just that pho stuff, though they got plenty of that. I saw folks eatin’ all sorts of things. They opened up back in 2017, so they ain’t brand new, but they sure know what they’re doin’.

Now, I ain’t one for fancy words, but the food? Oh boy, it was good. That Vietnamese food, it’s got a kick to it. Fresh, they say. And flavor? More flavor than a Fourth of July picnic, I tell ya. And they got these little cupcakes, too! Sweet little things, they are. I had the number 2 thing on the menu, some kind of beef. Rare beef, they called it. Tender as a baby’s behind, it was.
Pho Vy – So Many Choices
- Pho
- Curry Chicken Rice Plate
- Egg Sandwich
- Wonton Noodle Soup
They got all them things, and more. That Pho, though, that’s what they’re known for. Like soup, but way better. They make it with this broth, clear as a mountain stream, and it’s just full of goodness. I tell ya that broth was excellent, good to the last drop. I had the number 2, that rare beef, it was really somethin’.
This place, it’s down on International Blvd, in Oakland, I reckon. Easy to find. They’re open most days, ‘cept Thursdays, I think. From ten in the mornin’ till eight at night. Good hours, if you ask me. Easy to remember that address, 401 International Blvd, that’s the place.
Clean and Nice, That Pho Vy
Place is clean, too. Not like some of them greasy spoons you see around. And the people, they’re nice. They make ya feel right at home. Like you’re sittin’ at your own kitchen table. It’s in one of them shoppin’ centers, so there’s plenty of parkin’. Always a good thing, that.
They got other stuff besides pho, too. They got curry chicken, rice plates, sandwiches made with eggs, and some kind of noodle soup with wontons. Sounds fancy, but it’s just good eatin’, that’s all. They’re over on Columbus Pkwy, near that Parkway Plaza Shopping thing. So, lots of places to park your car.
They say it’s authentic Vietnamese. I don’t know ’bout all that, but I know it’s tasty. That pho and somethin’ called Bun Bo Hue, folks seem to like that, too. They say the service is fast, too. Don’t have to wait around all day for your food. Always a plus in my book.
Pho Vy Special Lunch
And they got a lunch special, too. That pho with steak, thin steak they call it, and egg noodles. Comes with them little spring rolls, too. Good deal, if you ask me. And like I said, they’re in Sunnyvale, too. Got a menu, prices, all that stuff. So, you know what you’re gettin’ into.

I tell ya, I’m gonna go back there again. Maybe try somethin’ different next time. Or maybe just get that beef again. It was that good. They got that Vietnamese cuisine down pat.
Yeah that Pho Vy is really somethin’. They really know how to cook up a storm. I’d recommend this place to anyone. You like good food, you go to Pho Vy. That’s what I say. So, if you’re ever in Oakland, or Sunnyvale, or wherever they are, you go check ’em out. You won’t be sorry.
